Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 758

Jonathan said, "It's been ages, I can't remember."

"But I do. I went home and told my mom about it. She said if you were to become her son-in-law, she'd prepare a big fat gift once I graduated," Yvonne joked.

Jonathan didn't respond.

Yvonne let out a self-deprecating laugh. Seeing Jonathan's lack of interest in her nostalgia, she awkwardly changed the subject, "By the way, I have a cousin who's a special forces dude. He's been doing international gigs and hasn't been home in years. I heard he's coming back this time, I can introduce you guys."

Jonathan just nodded, "Hmm."

"Jonathan," Yvonne was about to say something when she saw Jonathan stand up and stride away.

She swallowed her words, and her smile froze as she watched his retreating figure, then her gaze grew heavy.

Jonathan went to the balcony across from the private room, knowing Estelle was next door, but he couldn't go see her, the noisy crowd around him started to irk him.

"If you miss her, just go see her. You're one of the movie's investors, should be easy to find an excuse," Charlie came over and casually said.

Jonathan, hands resting on the rail, looked back at Charlie, "She's with her colleagues, it'd be awkward if I show up."

He wanted to be with her all the time, but he also felt he should give her some personal space.

So as long as he could be near her, he was good.

Charlie chuckled, "If you're into her, just go with your gut, there’s no need to overthink it."

Jonathan looked into the distance, lips slightly pursed, "You don't understand."

Charlie laughed it off, "I seriously don't. Seeing you so smitten, I'm starting to think Estelle put a spell on you or something."

Jonathan's hands clasped on the rail, he chuckled, "You're not the only one who's thought that. I've wondered myself."

Charlie was getting annoyed with his behavior, so he handed him a cigarette, "Have a smoke. She's right here, but she can't see you smoking, it should give you a kick."

Jonathan, lured by Charlie's words, took the cigarette and lit it up.

Charlie asked him, "You don't smoke, why are you carrying a lighter?"
