Yvonne's eyes revealed a hint of bitterness as she chuckled lightly, "and that gives her the right to disrespect others, huh?"
Hattie's face only grew uglier.
At that moment, Malloy walked in through the door, holding a thermal food container in his hand, smiling, "Ah, Ms. Yvonne is here too?"
"Just came to see Hattie." Yvonne nodded gently, looking surprised at Malloy's face, "Mr. Hearn, what happened to your face?"
Malloy touched the corner of his mouth, cursing angrily, "It's all because of that bitch Estelle, I'll definitely kick her out of the crew!"
Yvonne showed a knowing expression, awkwardly saying, "Estelle is quite skilled, I've seen her skills before, you better stay away from her in the future!"
"That bitch!" Malloy cursed furiously, "I won't let her off!"
The barbecue restaurant was getting more and more crowded. Estelle quickly finished her meal, helped out in the store for a while, and then returned to the crew.
As soon as she came back, she felt something was off. She was a cold person and didn't interact much with the crew members, nor did she participate in their after-work gatherings. However, they'd usually exchange greetings when they saw each other.
But today, every one of them had evasive looks in their eyes, or pretended not to see her.
When Estelle returned to the production area, the assistant director came over. His previous anger was gone, and his expression seemed to carry a hint of sympathy, "Mr. Mayfield is here, in the office. He wants to see you."
The temporary office of the production crew was located in a room in the backyard. Estelle pushed the door open and understood what was going on when she saw the people inside.
Besides MMayfield, Malloy and Hattie were also sitting on the sofa. When Estelle entered, Malloy curled his lips, his eyes even gloomier.
"Ella, sit." Mayfield didn't say anything else, his attitude was just as gentle as before.
Malloy raised his leg on the coffee table, lit a cigarette, and said softly, "Mr. Mayfield, I've made myself very clear. Either she gets the hell out, or I'll withdraw my investment. Think it over!"
The Hearn family wasn't in the film business. Malloy invested in Mayfield's movie purely because of Hattie.
