Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 2437

Memories, now faded and patchy as an old photograph.

Sophia lingered a bit longer, her hot chocolate now completely cold, before finally standing up.

Returning to the studio, she pushed open the office door and walked in, her melancholy still painted across her face, when her eyes met with the man sitting in her office chair.

Jason was leaning back, idly twirling a pen in his hand, his face expressionless as he looked at her. “Where have you been?”

Probably due to his unique family circumstances, Jason had grown up somewhat isolated, developing a cold and distant demeanor. He often wore a stern face, his expression unreadable.

Others might fear him, but Sophia never did.

Today, however, she was scared.

She felt like a child caught in wrongdoing, a mix of guilt and nervousness washing over her.

It wasn't just his consistent, warm care that reminded her of a paternal figure, but also a certain authoritative presence he wielded.

Despite her fear, Sophia decided to be honest. “I went to see Robin.”

In an instant, Jason’s eyes darkened, his tone emotionless as he asked, “He came to apologize, thinking he still loves you?”

Sophia bit her lip, “Yes!”

“Did you soften?” Jason’s voice was low and gravelly.

His hand holding the pen paused mid-air, suddenly anxious, fearing Sophia's next words would be, “I’m sorry, I still love Robin. I’ve decided to go back to him.”
