Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 2425

Jason looked up, his brow furrowing. "What's up?"

Sophia shook her head gently, "Nothing."

"Let's eat, don't overthink, it'll mess with your digestion." Jason said as he served her some food.

Sophia returned the favor by offering him a piece of barbecue ribs, "Here, your favorite!"

She knew she couldn't just blindly accept his kindness like before. She had to try, to reciprocate, starting now, from every little thing.

Jason paused for a moment, his gaze on Sophia deepening, which made her feel a bit shy. "Come on, let's eat."

A smile touched the corners of his mouth, bringing a sliver of light to the darkness within him, inch by inch, drawing him in as if he were a moth to a flame.

After dinner, they headed out, only to find it had started to rain. Jason immediately took off his jacket and draped it over Sophia's head, shielding her as they made their way to the car.

Once in the car, Sophia noticed his shirt was soaked. Concerned, she asked, "Aren't you cold?"

"It's fine, we'll be home soon!" Jason started the car and drove off.

The light drizzle made the windows foggy, blurring the colorful neon lights of the city streets.

The car was warm, filled with the sound of soft, classic tunes. Leaning against the window, Sophia felt relaxed after the meal. She'd been sleeping poorly these days, but now, comfortably full and at ease, she slowly drifted off to sleep.

Jason covered her with his jacket and reclined her seat, making her more comfortable. He drove more smoothly to ensure she stayed asleep.

Half an hour later, they arrived at his place.

Seeing Sophia sleeping soundly, Jason didn't wake her. He, too, leaned back and closed his eyes.
