Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1776

Mrs. James, not bothered, just smiled at Kya and cooed, "Sweetie, there's a beautiful new teddy bear on my bed, want to go see?"

Kya, in her innocent tone, replied, "I want to sleep with Daddy. Can Daddy come too?"

Charlie instantly laughed, hugging Kya even tighter. He told Mrs. James, "You should head off to bed, don't mess up Kya's routine."

Mrs. James scowled, "You brought my granddaughter home for me, and now you're keeping her away, are you trying to upset me?"

"Get used to it," Charlie replied nonchalantly. "Once Emily and I get married, you probably won't see Kya much during the day either."

Mrs. James' eyes widened, "You're serious?"

Charlie nodded, "Of course. If you don't accept Emily, you'll lose Kya. Your choice."

Mrs. James turned pale with anger, shot Charlie a venomous glance, and stormed off.

Kya looked up at Charlie, frowning slightly, "Is Granny angry?"

"It's okay, she'll be fine soon." Charlie pinched her little face, "Come on, let's continue our story."

The next morning, Charlie sent Emily a photo first thing. They were standing in front of the bathroom sink, brushing their teeth together.

Kya, with a mouth full of toothpaste foam, was all smiles.

Kya really liked Charlie. When Charlie used to frequent the Bright Commercial Center, they would stand together like this, laughing and joking while brushing their teeth.

Emily stared at the photo, her almond eyes brimming with warmth.

She put away her phone, got up, freshened up and headed to work.
