Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1730

As Magdalen descended the staircase, both Mrs. Sampson and Mr. Sampson turned to look at her. They scrutinized every detail on her face, attempting to know how their conversation had gone.

It seemed like she had been crying; had they not resolved their issues?

Mrs. Sampson and Mr. Sampson exchanged a glance, both feeling a touch of anxious.

Estelle, however, sat at the dining table, calmly enjoying a piece of cake.

Magdalen's face displayed no particular expression. Though she didn’t appear as angry as before, it didn't seem like she was particularly pleased either.

She took a seat across from Estelle and broke the silence, "I'm getting married, and just as we discussed earlier, you'll be my maid of honor."

The three in the room turned to look at her at the same time.

Magdalen gave Mrs. Sampson a quick glance, "Why are you looking at me like that? Aren’t you happy?"

"I might be so happy I've gone crazy!" Mrs. Sampson exclaimed in surprise, "Did you propose to Morrison?"

Magdalen furrowed her brows, "Why should I be the one proposing? Shouldn't it be him the one proposing to me?"

Estelle chimed in, "So, who propose in the end?"

Magdalen paused for a moment before admitting, "Actually, I think I was the one who proposed!"

It was she who had first suggested “Let’s get married”, and he had agreed.

Mrs. Sampson burst into hearty laughter as if everything had gone according to her expectations, "It doesn't matter who proposed to whom. Don’t get hung up on the details. Getting married is a matter between you two, after all!"

After saying this, she turned to Mr. Sampson, exclaiming with excitement, "Honey, the wedding gift we've prepared for years is finally ready to given away!"

Mr. Sampson nodded in agreement, "Indeed, it’s been quite a journey. We’ll raise a toast to Morrison later!"

Magdalen rolled her eyes elegantly and said to Estelle, "You see, they’re so eager to marry me off? And you said Mrs. Sampson loves me, where's the love?"
