Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1683

"No matter what, my word is law!" Magdalen exclaimed, her laughter vibrant and unfettered.

After they left, it was a good while before Antonia managed to pull herself up with the help of a classmate, sinking into the couch.

Her cheeks were swollen, her eyes and lip corners bruised. Her hair was in disarray, her appearance pitiful.

Gritting her teeth against the pain, she managed to find her phone, dialing a number. Once the call connected, she burst into tears, her voice slurred, "Dad, come quick, I've been beaten up!"

The person on the other end was taken aback, "Antonia, where are you? Who hit you?"

"Just come here, okay?!" Antonia sobbed.

Mr. Cliff was both worried and furious, "Who dared to hit you? They're asking for trouble!"

Antonia's sobs grew louder, but before she could speak, the door was kicked open with a bang.

This time, seven or eight people walked in, Millard leading the way. Ignoring a terrified Antonia, he grabbed her phone.

Mr. Cliff's alarmed voice came from the phone, "Antonia, Antonia!"

Millard held the phone to his ear, his voice icy, "Mr. Cliff, we'll be taking Ms. Antonia for now. Why don't you come down and we can talk face to face. Oh, by the way, I'm Millard from the Lamont Group."

Mr. Cliff was stunned, panic seeping into his voice, "Did Jonathan ask you to do this? Why did you hit my daughter? If there's anything you're unhappy about in our partnership, I'm willing to negotiate. But you can't harm my daughter!"

"This has nothing to do with our business relationship. Mr. Lamont has already called to terminate our partnership. Didn't you receive the message?" Millard's face was void of any emotion. "We'll take care of Ms. Antonia for now. Once you're here, we can talk more."

"Where are you taking my daughter?"

"Millard!"

"I'm going to call Jonathan! I need to talk to Jonathan!"

Meanwhile, Antonia was held in place by two men, crying out in fear, "Dad, Dad! Save me! Please, hurry and save me!"
