Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1655

Damian mused that encountering someone you genuinely adore was a blessing from the heavens. Yet, even Cupid, in all his wisdom, sometimes misfired his love arrows, as was the case with him and Norah.

Norah was young, sheltered, and naive to the workings of the world, mistaking novelty for love and often diving in headfirst without a second thought.

But he was different. He couldn't take advantage of her innocence.

Otherwise, he would have a hard time explaining it to Estelle!

Xavier put down his phone and lit up a cigarette, inhaling the smoke deeply to numb his restless emotions.

C City

There were no dazzling city lights in the mountains, making the moon appear even brighter.

The round moon hung between the mountains and the treetops, its soft glow, like silver light, illuminating the entire courtyard.

Yesterday, Wade had lanterns hung throughout the yard. When night fell and the lanterns were lit, the festive spirit was even more palpable.

The table was laden with assorted fruits and pastries. Jonathan was engaged in conversation with Mr. Jarvis. Estelle and Emily sat under the porch chatting, while Kya scampered around the yard, her clear laughter melting hearts.

Wade had the kitchen warm up some apple cider, and a variety of seafood dishes were prepared. This was their way of celebrating the Festival.

Mr. Jarvis and Jonathan were deep in conversation when Kya, having caught a cicada, ran over to show them her find, exclaiming that she had found a fat black butterfly.

Jonathan's phone vibrated. It was a video call from Carson.
