Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1565

Mrs. James said crossly, "What do you mean not serious? We need to nip problems in the bud, it's too late when things hit the fan!"

"Charlie's seen all sorts of girls. He won't fall for this one!"

"Guess you have a point." Mrs. James nodded, then asked Flora, "Did Josiah and Amiee meet through a blind date?"

"Yep!" Flora laughed, "Josiah wasn't keen at first, but they hit it off after spending some time together. Now Josiah always puts Amiee first. He's been giving me the cold shoulder for quite a while."

Everyone joined in the laughter, and then Mrs. James chimed in, "I reckon blind dates are a good idea. At least both families know each other's deal, and feelings tend to grow over time even if they aren't there at the start."

Flora said, "I could get Charlie to check out if there are any good matches."

"No need for that. I've already got my eye on a girl. Just not sure what Charlie thinks of her." Mrs. James replied.

Flora asked in surprise, "Whose daughter is she?"

"She's the Earwood family's daughter from Y City. She's now in J City. She runs her own company, a really capable girl." Mrs. James sipped her tea and praised.

Flora said, "That sounds promising. She could be a great help to Charlie."

Mrs. James nodded, "That's what I'm thinking, but Charlie doesn't seem to be into her."

"They just need to spend more time together. You can help Charlie make a decision on this."

Mrs. James pondered, "Right, I've considered that. I can't always let him have his way. By the way, Ms. Waters is here too. She met a friend and went off to chat. I'll introduce you when she comes over."
