Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1497

Simone thought she had given a clear indication that Mrs. Lamont would understand, but what would the Lamont family think? Would they like Carmella?

Cathrine seemed kind, but her words were subtle, distant and friendly, and it was difficult to understand. About half an hour later, Jonathan strolled down from upstairs. Carmella quickly turned her head to look. He was dressed in an off-white casual suit, handsome with a calm and elegant demeanor. As he walked towards her, it felt like a god descending to earth. Her heart was racing and her palms were sweaty long before he was anywhere near her.

"Jonathan," Cathrine hollered, "Mrs. Macclain and Ms. Macclain are here. Come over for a sec."

Jonathan turned his head, spotting Simone and her daughter in the living room. His brows raised slightly, a hint of surprise on his face.

"Mr. Lamont!" Simone stood up immediately.

Carmella also stood, her eyes bright and her expression even sweeter and softer, "Hello, Mr. Lamont!"

Jonathan came and sat on the sofa, his expression as aloof as ever, "What's up?"

Simone said with a smile, "We really appreciate you attending Carmella's celebration party. Carmella wanted to personally thank you for your praise. If you have the time, Carmella would like to take you out for a meal."

"Praise?" Jonathan cracked a small smile, "What has Ms. Macclain done that deserves my praise?"

Carmella's smile faltered, looking at him in surprise. Simone also felt a heavy sensation in her heart, but forced a smile, "Mr. Lamont, you attended Carmella's celebration party in person. I assumed you appreciated Carmella's talent."
