"Huh?" Jonathan frowned. "Is she saying I'm old?"
"Maybe!" Estelle answered with a laugh.
Jonathan glanced at some young student couples nearby, bursting with energy, and his expression turned darker. "Don't tell me you think I'm old too."
Estelle's smile grew wider. "No, you're a bit older than them, but you're way hotter!"
Jonathan chuckled at her teasing. He looked at her quietly and asked, "Do you really think I'm old?"
Estelle shook her head immediately. "Not at all; I misspoke!"
Jonathan smirked. "There's a price to pay for misspeaking."
Just then, the waiter brought over their noodles.
Estelle quickly changed the subject. "Let's eat first."
The noodles tasted as they always did. Estelle ate quietly, occasionally glancing up at Jonathan, who was also watching her. Their eyes were full of gratitude.
Grateful that after all this time, they could still sit together.
After finishing their meal, they strolled along the bustling food street. The sky had completely darkened, and the neon lights were just coming on, illuminating the entire street like a brilliant starry sky.
Jonathan held Estelle's hand, and suddenly, a lollipop appeared in his other hand. He handed it to Estelle.
Estelle looked up and laughed. "When did you buy this?"
"I bought it on my way to pick you up."
Estelle accepted the candy, unwrapped it, and popped it into her mouth.
"Do you want to go check out the Royal Mansion?" Jonathan asked.
Estelle paused, looking in the direction of the Royal Mansion.
