Elvis looked rather excited, his eyes full of admiration. He chuckled and quickly got out of the car.

"Mr. Pennyfeather, I'll talk to the actress who was originally supposed to play the supporting female role. I'll convince her to cooperate with us."

Maja nodded.

After returning to the company, a call came in from Rosewood Manor.

"Ms. Pennyfeather, Alma was previously studying in a high school domestically. There was an opportunity for her to be recommended to a prestigious overseas music school. The chance was not originally hers, but the student who was supposed to go suddenly had a hand injury and couldn't play the piano anymore, so the recommendation went to Alma."

Upon hearing this, Maja had a hunch that something fishy was happening.

She was always very respectful toward him. Grandpa Holden was the only person in the Raymond family she liked.

"Maja, how about coming over for dinner tonight? You promised me before. You should have a meal with Ian."

This was something she agreed to a long time ago, promising to maintain a superficial harmony with Ian even after their divorce.

Not wanting to turn him down, Maja simply replied, "Alright."

"I'll have Ian pick you up."

"I'll drive myself over."

"He's coming from there anyway, and he can just swing by and pick you up."

Maja was at a loss for words. After all, with Selena’s recent incident, no one knew how the older man was doing.

She worked until six in the evening, dealing with a bunch of paperwork. Just as she was about to call Elvis to ask about the actress, her office door swung open, and Ian walked in.

She had thought he would wait for her downstairs.

She frowned slightly.

She got up, grabbed her bag and was ready to go.

Ian quickly walked over, trying to help her with her bag, but she avoided him.
