Ian took a deep breath, went quiet for half a minute, then said to Jeff, "Call the people at Raymond Mansion and tell them I'm coming over for dinner tonight."

Jeff immediately went off to do just that.

Seven o'clock in the evening.

Ian arrived at Raymond Mansion on the dot.

Holden was playing chess alone on the sofa, with many pieces already on the board, indicating the game was nearing its end.

He saw Holden about to move a piece back and couldn't help but say, "Once a move is made, there's no taking it back."

Holden raised an eyebrow and took a look.

This painting had been in the possession of a collector abroad who was unwilling to sell it. Ian had to put in quite an effort to get his hands on it.

It also further proved that he had quite a bit of wealth abroad, so much so that even Holden himself didn't know how much.

Holden put the painting down with satisfaction but didn't mention Maja. Instead, he cheerfully called for the butler to bring out the dinner.

"It's nice of you to come back and keep me company tonight."
