Jeff knew Ian had to chase after someone and could no longer hesitate.

Soon after, a huge bouquet made of 999 roses was delivered to the top floor.

"Ms. Pennyfeather, you've got flowers."

She was about to say to bring them in, but looking up, she saw Zoey completely blocked by the massive bouquet, with two people struggling to carry it.

Zoey put down the flowers and said seriously.

"They're from Mr. Raymond."

She recalled the night she asked Ian for help finding Maja. He had seemed aloof then, but now he was sending flowers?

Zoey didn't like him. She thought he was just putting on a show.

Upon hearing it was from Ian, Maja's eyebrows instantly furrowed.

"What's he up to? Is he out of his mind?"

"Ms. Pennyfeather, where should I put the flowers?"

"Just toss them. If he sends anything else, just dump it."

There was a knock at the office door. It was Jeff.

Seeing Ian and Jeff in her office one after another, Maja felt as if she were dreaming.

"Ms. Penny."

Jeff called her, laying the documents in his hand on the table.

"These are Mr. Raymond's properties in Greenfield. He wants half of them transferred to you. Please sign here."

He wanted to give her half of his properties? Worth billions of dollars, Ian wanted to give them to her?

Maja's eyebrows furrowed tighter. "What's he playing at?"

Jeff was taken aback. Wasn't his intention obvious? Couldn't she see it?

But Maja looked genuinely puzzled.
