When Ian climbed back into bed, Maja was in that half-asleep, half-awake zone.

His arm was still wrapped around her waist.

He turned towards her, taking a good look at her face.

She had a nice nose and great skin, and though her lashes weren't long, they were thick. Even with her short hair, she still looked cute while sleeping.

He couldn't resist, hugging her tight and planting a little kiss on her like he was petting a lazy cat.

His action stirred Maja awake. She looked at him, and suddenly a smile spread across her face.

"It must be fake," she said.

She was talking about the letter she had seen that day. After all, he was right beside her.

Maja was dreaming, and after saying that, she drifted back to sleep.
