Janice smiled lightly. "You all know that I'm a seamstress. But besides that, I'm also a businesswoman, and a businesswoman doesn't make deals that bring losses. Technically, I'm a shareholder too, but without the right incentives, I have no obligation to save Refined Threads Co."
Britney grew anxious. "Janice, we know what happened between you and Simon. We looked into it. He was the one who wronged you. But that was your personal business, and it wasn't our place to interfere. Like you said, we're all businesspeople. Now that Refined Threads Co. has been run into the ground by him, we can't let him remain as chairman!"
"Exactly! As long as you're willing, we'll support you taking over!" Sabrina promised.
The three of them had already discussed it. Between Simon and Janice, Janice was the obvious choice. She was far more capable in business and far more trustworthy.
Simon was nothing but arrogant and irresponsible. Whenever things went wrong, he blamed others instead of fixing the problem. How far could a man like that go?
Not to mention, Janice was now closely tied to Prosper Stitch Group. Logically speaking, there was no way she'd let Refined Threads Co. collapse. And they refused to let their company become worthless.
Janice smiled. "I doubt Simon would agree to this."
"What does his opinion matter? Together, we hold enough shares to vote him out."
Janice nodded slowly.
Good. These three had brains, so she wouldn't have to waste time convincing them.
"Since you trust me, let's handle the transition today. I won't make any empty promises, but I can guarantee that you'll see millions in profit every quarter."
All she needed to do was step forward with her other name at the international championship, then everything would fall into place.
Sabrina, Tabitha, and Britney exchanged glances. "Deal!"
…
By the time Simon found out, he had already been removed from his position. His office had been cleared out under Janice's orders.
Watching his belongings being moved out, Simon exploded. "What the hell are you doing? That's my stuff! I'm the chairman of Refined Threads Co.! Are you all insane?"
The security guard hesitated before replying, "Apologies, Mr. Fitzgerald… but this office is now reserved for the new chairperson. Your office has been moved down one floor."
New chairperson?
Since when?
Those damn old women! Even if they planned this, shouldn't they have at least told him first?
Just then, the sharp click of heels echoed through the hall. Simon spun around instantly.
