In a fit of rage, the cultivator leapt toward Ira, intending to grab her.
The elderly woman remained motionless, her face adorned with a gentle smile as she watched on.
Just as the cultivator was about to seize Ira, a sudden burst of white light shot through the air.
Bang!
A beam of white light pierced through the cultivator’s body, causing him to explode into nothingness!
Flesh and blood rained down, splattering onto Talcott and the others as well.
“Wow!”
“Truly spectacular!”
At the cultivator’s demise, the people of Rock Village all applauded and cheered in approval.
Talcott and his group were all left dumbfounded. They had no clue where that blast of white light had originated from!
“Who’s there playing tricks and hiding in the shadows? If you’ve got the guts, come out!”
Talcott cast a wary glance all around him.
“Mr. Talcott, it’s been quite a while!” At that moment, Jared leisurely made his entrance.
The moment Talcott laid eyes on Jared, his brows furrowed instantly.
He couldn’t comprehend how it was possible he would run into Jared in such a remote and impoverished mountain village!
The last person Talcott wanted to encounter at that moment was Jared!
“I never thought it would be you…”
Talcott looked at Jared, his gaze filled with disdain.
“You don’t think about a lot of things,” Jared said with a cold smirk.
“Jared, we’re here to apprehend the Demonic Cultivator. Don’t meddle in affairs that don’t concern you. Moreover, these people aren’t worth your trouble. It’s best if you keep your distance. If you do, our Demon Seal Alliance won’t bother you anymore in the future.”
Talcott was hoping that Jared would not meddle in affairs that were not his business.
“The Demon Seal Alliance might not want to bother me, but I’m certainly looking for trouble with you.”
Jared wore an expression of amusement.
