Seal of Light - Enlightened novel Chapter 27

Inside the Good Eve Mansion, John Eve entered a private function room where his wife Rain was waiting.

John closed the door and to his surprise, he saw another woman standing before Rain.

"Hello John."

John fixed his eyeglasses and cleared his throat. He gave the woman a closer look.

"Lily"

And then there was this moment of cold silence. John couldn't believe it. Is it really her?

"I would like to make it clear that, well, I am surprise that you and Rain ended up on each others arms and had a family, I'm really happy for you both. I am here to deliver a very important message to Rain, and you John should also be aware of this news."

"11 years, Lily, where have you been? Rain was dead worried about you, and now what is this? If this is about the supernatural again, please count Rain out of this." John interrupted. 

"I'm speaking in behalf of everyone's sake. Now allow me to give you the news, and then I will leave the decision to Rain if she wants to participate or not."

Lily's message:

Outcasted demons are NOW on their way to the human realm to bring tribulation. This was delayed 11 years ago when Lily and Rain destroyed the portal being created by the demon Karasu, Karasu who was in spirit form back then, was sent back to the astral world when he was defeated by Seth.

Seth and Lily followed Karasu in the astral world to learn more of the objective of his activities. For more than a year, they track and chase him in the different realms of the astral world.

Karasu was one of the four outcasted demonlords, he has his physical form and control his full power in the astral world. Karasu realized that, aside from the archangels, the Carriers of the Seal are capable of defeating them with their full seal unleashed.

Karasu planned to overtake Seth and Lily's body and convert them to join his side. Both refused and remain loyal to their alliance to the light. Karasu learned that, it would be the perfect weapon for the demons to use the carriers of the seal as their pawns. During another encounter, Karasu tried to possess Lily but Seth helped her and fought a death match with the demon. Seth finally sent Lily back to the human realm before Karasu killed him.

Lily woke up back in the human realm, at that time, she was already conceiving Seth's child.

Demonlord Karasu is trying to kidnap carriers of the seal, especially the young once, to be converted and used as pawns.

3 More demonlords are coming and now on their way to meet Karasu in this mysterious island in the Astral World. Their estimated arrival is within 2-3 days from now.

All Carriers of the Seal are called to team up with the archangels to battle with the demonlord and their army of summons and demons.

Equation of power.

- A demonlord has 2 kinds of summons, It can produce several animated shadow creatures and a slave demon.

- A slave demon is equivalent to a new or young carrier of the seal.

- 2-3 highly skilled carrier or 1-2 master level carrier can match a single demonlord.

- 1 archangel can defeat a demonlord.

Carriers of the Seal and Archangels should outnumber the incoming demonlord to secure their victory.

"I have delivered the message, I will be leaving now. You know how to get there Rain, I'll see you there if you decide to come. We only got less than 48 hours to prepare for this." Lily said.

"One last thing, I have a very young daughter too, her name is Willow. Please take her as your own if ever I don't get back after this war."
