Chapter 37: 21I Knew The Entire Time
The room goes quiet. I’m still in the kitchen, frozen, and wet. The water from my hair, now drips on the kitchen floor.
I open the freezer, just to double check, even though I know there’s no ice cream left. But, with the freezer door open, it stops me from see-ing her room.
