Worship The Ground You Walk On novel Chapter 61

The cocktail party at night was hosted in the open-air banquet hall on the rooftop of the Seasons Hotel. It was luxuriously decorated, and surrounded by the beautiful nightscape of the city, providing an amazing experience to every guest here.

As requested, Claudia arrived at the hotel in time, and then was brought into the room upstairs by Amber to change her clothes.

“Remember that the only thing you need to do is to play the piano. Don’t care about anything else, OK?” Amber exhorted.

To put off her doubts, she explained, “ I’m trying to help you so that they won’t know you are a mute, because I hate hearing people calling you a dumb girl. After all, you are my sister, right? So, just play your piano and leave everyone and everything behind!”

Claudia nodded and confirmed it in sign language before she left, “After this, you will bring me to see my mother tomorrow, right?”

“Yeah! This is our secret, so don’t tell anyone!” she whispered.

Claudia didn’t respond and walked into the locker room.

In the banquet hall, Amber showed up with a flaming dress, which made her particularly charming.

She picked a cup of champagne from the waiter and walked close to Mr. Hunt with a sweet voice, “Mr. Hunt!”

Her voice was like an electric current passing right through him, giving him a sense of numbness and pleasure. He couldn’t help abandoning the guest he was talking to and turned his head to Amber with a smile.

“Wow, Amber!” Mr.Hunt said, putting his hand on her thin waist and groping.

Amber didn’t shun him but stayed more close to him. Her curvy figure really turned him on.

“Do you still remember my proposal, Mr. Hunt? What do you think?” Amber took advantage of this and got straight to the business.

He looked at her teasingly and said, “The things about Claudia, right?”

“Yeah. After I talked with Mr. Connor, she got divorced from Mr. Conrad a few days later. The Crawfords won’t adopt a woman like her anymore, so she will likely be alone all along. How pitiful she is!”

When she was speaking, she held his arm and played the coquetry to him, making Mr. Hunt more difficult to stay cool.

Though he was in middle age now, he still couldn’t resist her attraction. With his desire growing stronger, he gazed at the girl next to him with a mix of feelings, “Well, what do you want me to do?”

“You like my sister pretty much, don’t you? So…why don’t you take good care of her? I will be so relieved to see my sister with your company for the rest of her life.”

With her smiling, Amber’s hideous plot was finally uncovered.

Mr. Hunt frowned. At present, Amber was the only thing he wanted to get. Though she was not as good as Claudia in appearance, she was really good at attracting a man.

Meanwhile, the soothing sound of music entered their ears. Thanks to the skillfulness of Claudia, the beautiful rhythm amazed all the guests in the hall immediately.

Mr. Hunt was fascinated by the music. It controlled him to slowly walk to the stage and stare at the girl dazedly.

Tonight, Claudia wore a royal blue halter gown, whose backless design showed the curvy of her figure. Her hair was loosely coiled on the back of her head with a strand of hair hanging over her ears. When a breeze came, it would graze her face and move backward, exhibiting her white, thin nape. What a piece of art.

She was playing Mozart’s Piano Sonata No.16 in C major, which was so wonderful that the lively crowd was now in complete silence.

Mr.Hunt was staring at her in concentration, with much more feelings in his eyes.

Amber, who was ignored by him, was smiling coldly.

She had made a detailed investigation on Mr. Hunt, knowing that his wife, who was ten years younger than him and had been dead several years ago, was a piano teacher and good at Mozart’s piano pieces.
