Werewolf Compilations novel Chapter 18

"Can I buy you a drink?" A wasted guy asks me as he attempts to act smooth.

"Yeah, you can," I answer in a sweet, flirty voice, but I immediately cringe at myself.

He smiles and orders me some drink I've never heard of. I could use a drink. I can feel my wolf getting angry at me for flirting with someone other than our mate. "Here." He hands me the concoction and I don't think twice before taking a sip. It burns my throat and has quite an after taste but overall it wasn't that bad.

An upbeat song plays throughout the club, and I gulp down the rest of my drink and make my way to the dance floor. I join in the crowd and just let go.

I move my body along with everyone else, I feel hands on my waist. I let it go and just dance along.

"Come on." The person whispers in my ear.

I follow the guy through the crowd to a table full of other werewolves.

"Sit down and join us!" A girl yells over the music.

I smile and join them at the table. The table is covered with shots and other drinks. The guy that danced with me hands me a shot and I swallow the cool, burning liquor. Before I know it I've taken a ton of shots and other drinks that will surely give me one hell of a headache in the morning. At this point, I know I'm drunk.

"Let's dance!" The group cheers and I join them.

We all stumble to the dance floor and start to dance with random people. I've totally lost my mind. As I'm dancing with my new friends I feel someone grab my wrist and pull me out of the crowd. I knew the second that he touched me that it was Tyler. Stupid mate bond.

He drags me towards the back door.

"No, I don't want to leave!" I pout.

"Anna come on your drunk." He drags me out the door. The cool breeze outside hit me and I shiver.

"Get in the car." He orders, pointing to a very expensive looking car.

"No, I'm going back to my friends!" I yell as I stumble back towards the back door of the club. Tyler sighs and grabs my arm, he opens the car door and forces me in. He shuts the car door and gets in on the driver's side.

"What the hell were you doing at a club?!" He scolds.

I ignore him and look out the car window.

"Damn it, Anna!" He yells and starts the car; he starts speeding down the main road.

I start to freak out, he's going over 100 miles per hour, and he's only getting faster.

"Tyler slow down!" I yell at him.

"Why the hell were you at a club?" He shouts at me not slowing down.

"Tyler slow down!"
