The public’s attention had shifted from Joanna to a popular actress, Carmel Basil. 

She was a new star in Jaydon’s company, and she won her first best actress award yesterday. 

Besides, Carmel just announced she had a boyfriend who was an accomplished actor.

Joanna looked back and said, “Mr. Everett.” 

“You’ve been missing for days. I thought you were dead.” 

Bruce said sarcastically. 

Then he calmed himself and felt a little regret. 

That was not what he thought. 

He grew up with everyone sucking up to him. 

He had a powerful family, and he was also capable.
