The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 80

“Mom, what are you doing? I have to go to work. Please let us go. ” Edith looked at Amara and felt speechless.

At that time, Amara held a rolling pin in her hands. She stood in front of Edith and Casey with anger.

Nicolas Patel stood behind Amara and also looked at them with anger.

“Let you go? Do you know how they discuss you two? How can you go to work? If you don’t fix it, we will be kicked out of the Patel family soon. ” Amara talked to them loudly.

“Mom, I have explained it clearly to you. Nyla insisted on signing the contract, she made this mistake, and it was none of our business. How can you blame Casey? Edith felt mad and argued with her.

“You don’t need to argue with me for such an idiot. I know about him. He wanted to put us into trouble at the beginning. Now, all the family members ask him to get out of the Patel family. Why do you protect him?”

“Edith, I agree with your mom. You have wasted a lot of time by staying together with him. Now, we should ask him to get out of the Patel family. ” Nicolas sighed.

Edith frowned. She did not expect that Nyla would spread such a rumor and put Casey into trouble after that day.

And all the family members believed Nyla, they even did not intend to come to Francis to know about the truth. So Edith felt sad about it.

“Please stop talking like this. Anyway, I will never divorce Casey. If you push me, I will move out with him,” Edith said firmly.

This time, in addition to Amara and Nicolas, Casey also felt surprised.

He never thought that Edith would move out for him.

He smiled and thought that if Edith really moved out with him, he would not hesitate either.

So it was time to buy a house which was not so luxurious. Otherwise, they would have no house for living if they moved out.

Certainly, he had the TY Manor. But it seemed that Edith did not like it so much. What’s more, it was given by the Davies family. So he never thought about living in this manor.

He thought that he could think about buying a house when he had time.

Amara was a little furious when she saw that Edith did not follow her order. Then she scolded Casey directly, “Casey, you are such an idiot. How can you keep staying in our family? You did not negotiate successfully for the project with TY Group, so you should divorce Edith. You are not qualified to stay in the Patel family anymore.”

Casey did not care about her. He said, “I have negotiated successfully with TY Group for the project, but Nyla signed the contract on her own initiative, making the contract invalidated. So it was none of my business.”

Amara said disdainfully, “Don’t lie to me! Why could you negotiate successfully for the project with TY Group? In my opinion, you just take an excuse to slander Nyla. Because she told me that you slandered her on purpose.”

Edith was so angry because Nyla always wanted to hurt her, but Amara still defended Nyla.

“Mom, Casey doesn’t lie to you. Why don’t you believe him? How can you not believe me? ” Edith asked her.

“Edith, you have been deceived by this idiot. You shall not speak for him like this. Please wake up! If you keep doing this, we will be hurt by him.”

Amara was also furious. She always wanted to control all the family members. But now Edith started to fight against her, making her feel that her family status was threatened.

She held the rolling pin and stared at Casey, “Will you divorce Edith? If you don’t divorce Edith, I will hit you.”

And then, she hit Casey with the rolling pin without any hesitation, and she did not care about whether he would be hurt.

In her opinion, he had to bear it even if she hit him because she had raised him for so many years.

Edith saw that it was dangerous so she stopped Amara with her hands.

At that time, Casey raised his hands to nip Amara’s wrists first.

Amara did not expect that Casey would react so fast. What made her more surprised was that Casey dared to fight against her.

“How dare you! Let me go! How dare you hit me! ” Amara said anxiously.

Casey was a little angry. He stared at Amara and said coldly, “You are Edith’s mother, so I always tolerate you. But you cannot go too far, because my patience is limited.”
