The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 79

After she read the term, Nyla was shocked, and her hand trembled with the contract.

Francis frowned when he saw her appearance. He took back the contract immediately and read the terms on the last page.

After reading, he was furious at once, and then he slapped Nyla.

“You’re such a scoundrel. How could you sign this contract? Now because of you, this contract is invalid. ” Francis was so angry that his voice trembled too.

Although he loved Nyla so much at ordinary times, it was crucial to the Patel family in terms of the cooperation with TY Group, so he did not allow there to be any mistake.

He thought that it was unexpected when he knew Casey got the contract. And he knew that there must be only one with the signature of TY Group as it was so important.

Now, Nyla signed the contract on her own initiative, making the contract to be invalidated. So he was anxious.

Nyla covered her face with her hand, and she was puzzled for a while. She did not expect that there would be such a term in the contract.

She looked at Casey and pointed at his nose with her hand, “Grandpa, he knew that there was such a term in the contract, but he did not stop me from signing this contract. He just wanted to embarrass me.”

Casey felt speechless, he did not think that Nyla would slander him this way.

“I told you twice just now. Were you deaf? ” Casey said coldly.

Nyla was so anxious that she did not know what to do. She certainly knew that Casey had told her just now, but she had to shirk the responsibility now.

“Grandpa, that’s all because of Casey. You cannot blame me for it. ” Nyla turned to Francis and looked at him again.

Francis looked at Nyla with anger and said to her, “Do you think that I am a dotard? Casey told you clearly just now, but you were just afraid that you could not be in charge of this project, so you signed it. You shall be responsible for it!”

Nyla was usually an eager-beaver in front of Francis, so Francis liked her. But when his benefits were damaged, he would not tolerate it even if she was his granddaughter.

Nyla was upset when Francis said that, and she scolded Edith and Casey in her mind.

She thought that she was hit by Francis because of Edith and Casey.

Casey glanced at Nyla and Francis and then said, “I have gotten the contract for you, and it means that I finished the task. So you cannot blame us for this matter.”

And then he walked towards the door of the mansion by holding Edith’s hand.

“Grandpa, we cannot let them go. Casey shall be responsible for it, you cannot only blame me. ” Nyla sat down in front of Francis and cried out.

Francis did not stop Casey but criticized Nyla with anger, “If I don’t do this favour to the Davies family in B City, I will ask you to get out of the Patel family because of the mistake you made. From now on, you cannot interfere with the matters of the company, and your monthly allowance will be halved. And then your aunt will teach you how to behave better. Only when you learn it can you think about managing the company again.”

Nyla was shocked. Her aunt was really horrible, because she was a very unreasonable person, so she would not care about whether Nyla could marry a rich man in a big family.

In other words, her aunt could be regarded as another Amara Stevens with horrible means.

If she lived together with her aunt, she would die.

However, no matter how she begged, Francis was not satisfied. This time, he was really angry.

Francis narrowed his eyes and looked at the direction that Casey went away and sighed, “Since Casey could get the contract from TY Group, I think he can get it one more time. Now, he could only raise his hope for Casey.

Until they left the Patel family's mansion, Edith still felt puzzled.

She needed some time to think about what happened today.

She looked at Casey by her side. Today she felt the indestructible sense of security again from Casey. It was precisely because of this feeling that she seemed to be inseparable from Casey.

What a woman needed most was exactly a man she could rely on. And Casey was the one she could rely on.

“You must work hard to get the contract from TY Group. I think Nyla was too bad. But even grandpa could not control her, so you don’t need to care about her. ” Edith comforted Casey.

Casey smiled and said, “I never care about anyone like her, I only care about what you think.”

Edith felt warm and said to him, “Although grandpa did not push me to divorce you, we did not sign the contract. I am afraid my mom will keep bothering you. And it’s a pity because what you did to get the contract was in vain.”

“It doesn’t matter. It is just a contract, I can get another one. ” Casey talked to her.

Edith was surprised. She never thought that Casey did not pay attention to the contract, as if he could get a contract from TY Group easily.
