The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 77

Hunter did not expect that Charles would come here, and Charles even heard what he said just now. So he felt flustered.

He made himself calm down and looked at Charles with respect, “Mr. Charles, why do you come here? I just made a joke with this idiot just now.”

“Who is an idiot?” Charles was a little angry. He knew about Casey, and Casey gave everything he had to him, so he could not allow anyone to treat Casey this way.

Hunter thought that Charles asked him who Casey was, so he quickly talked to him, “Mr. Charles, he is the idiot who is famous in the whole J City. He entered my office without permission today and wanted to steal the secret files of our company. I was going to deal with him, and then you came here.”

"Mr. Charles, please punish this rubbish severely, otherwise, he will steal the secrets of our company.”

Charles was very angry when Hunter said that. Casey was his benefactor, and he could not allow anyone to slander him, so he had to give a lesson to Hunter.

And then he gave a slap to Hunter directly and said, “In my opinion, you are good-for-nothing. How can you talk to me like that?”

Hunter did not expect that Charles would hit him, so he was puzzled. But he did not dare to fight against Charles. Even though he was hit, he just had to make an apology to Charles with a smile.

“Yes, you are right. I should not have talked to you like that. I am so sorry, Mr. Charles.” Hunter nodded and bowed.

Charles stared at Hunter with anger. And then he turned to Casey and said with a smile, “Are you OK?”

Casey shook his head and said, “Let him go out.”

Charles nodded with agreement and then kicked Hunter’s ass and said, “Get out!”

Hunter dared not to stay in the office anymore, and he got out of the office quickly.

Charles stood by Casey’s side and smiled, “Hunter doesn’t know your identity, so he is impolite to you. If you don’t like him, I can punish him.”

“Give me the contract for the project first. We can talk about him later.”

Charles nodded at once and then took out the contract from his briefcase.

Outside the office, Hunter covered his face and ass with his hands unhappily.

“Damn it! That’s so bad! Why did the Chairman come in at that time? Casey was so lucky. It seems that they know each other, but they shall not have a special relationship.”

“Shit it! I have to punish Casey severely after the Chairman leaves. Because of him, I was given a slap!”

Hunter said to himself for a while. He could not believe that Casey could call Charles and asked him to come here. He thought that it was just a coincidence.

As for the relationship between Casey and Charles, Hunter thought that they just knew each other. After all, Charles was the Chairman of TY Group, so it was impossible for him to lower his identity and make contact with such rubbish.”

“Anyway, I will not lose my position because of it. As long as I am in charge of the project, Edith will marry me sooner or later. Casey, you will regret it.”

......

Charles sorted out the contract and then gave it to Casey. Casey glanced over the contract and then asked, “Is it OK?”

Charles nodded and said, “As long as the Patel family signs it, the contract will automatically take effect, and this project will be handed over to them for execution.”

Casey nodded and was going to take it back to Edith for signature.

And then he talked about Hunter with Charles. Charles was amazed when he got it. He did not expect that Hunter would take this project as a chance to push Edith to marry him.

In Charles’ opinion, he would not allow Hunter continues to work in the company, but Casey only asked him to resign Hunter’s manager position.

Because Casey did not want Hunter to know his identity. If Hunter resigned from his original position, he must think that it was because Casey talked to Charles that he was unqualified.

Charles nodded with agreement. He always implemented Casey’s orders without objection.

When they walked out of the office, Hunter was standing outside.

Hunter walked up to Charles humbly when he saw Charles.

“Deal with other matters, I’ll go now.” Casey talked to Charles.

Charles nodded to him and walked him into the elevator.

And then he turned back and looked at Hunter. Hunter smiled at once, “Mr. Charles, I call someone to prepare a cup of tea for you right now.”

“No, thanks. From now on, you will be the team leader of the Personnel Department, and I will appoint another one to serve as the manager. What’s more, you cannot be in charge of the project this time. Please work harder, otherwise, I will not take in anyone who is good-for-nothing,” Charles said coldly.

Hunter instantly froze as if he was struck by lightning.

“Mr. Charles, why? I have been doing well in the company recently,” Hunter said anxiously.

“Well, shut up! I will notify the Personnel Department.”
