The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 75

In the morning, Casey came out from home. Edith drove by herself to work, because Amara and Nicolas Patel did not allow Casey to drive the LAND ROVER.

Casey did not care about it. After all, this car was bought to Edith so that it was convenient for her to go to work, and he could take a taxi if needed.

Today, he was going to get a contract in the subsidiary of TY Group. He asked Charles Clinton yesterday, and Charles told her the address of the subsidiary, so he could go there by himself and get the contract.

He went straight to the bus station, because he was going to go there by bus.

When he was waiting for the bus, a new Audi stopped in front of the bus station. When the car window fell down, he saw Hunter Powell in a suit sitting in the car.

Those who waited for the bus at the bus station looked at Hunter sitting in the car with admiration.

Hunter glanced at Casey and said, “Oh, this is Casey, the idiot. Are you waiting for the bus here? Where are you going?”

Casey looked at Hunter and said, "I am going to talk about business with others."

Hunter laughed at once. He said to Casey, “Oh really? Are you serious? It’s the first time I have seen someone go to talk about business with others by bus.”

People around them also laughed at Casey when they heard Hunter’s words.

“He’s so funny. If he is going to talk about business with others, he should be a big boss. But if he is a big boss, why does he take a bus here? I think he is lying.”

“I really can’t help laughing. I think he is a fool. How can he tell a lie in front of such a handsome man?”

“Yes, I agree with you. He might be a fool. The handsome man really looks like a big boss because he drives such a high-end car. But this man looks like a clodhopper.”

......

Hunter was proud when he heard the comments of those people around them.

And he thought that he had reached cooperation with Nyla Patel, so as long as Nyla talked about his intention to Francis Patel, Edith would divorce Casey. Thinking about it, he was excited.

It seemed that Casey did not know what happened, so he had a sense of superiority right now.

Although everyone around him was laughing at him, he was expressionless, as if he hadn't heard it.

And then Hunter guessed that Casey was going to talk about business with the principal in the subsidiary of TY Group.

It seemed that Edith did not tell him about what happened before, otherwise, he should have known that he was in charge of the project.

“Where are you going to talk about business? I think I can drive you there,” Hunter said with a smile.

“No, thanks.” Casey replied.

Hunter sneered in his mind. Because he could confirm that Casey really did not know that he was in charge of this project. In this case, he would prank him when he arrived at the company.

“Well, then good luck to you. I hope you will not be kicked out by others.”

And then Hunter drove away.

People around Casey were still discussing him and laughing at him.

Indeed, Casey did not know that Hunter was in charge of the project. As for him, the TY Group belonged to him, so no matter who was the principal, he/she should follow his order.

Later, the bus arrived, and then he got on the bus and went to the subsidiary of TY Group.

After getting off the bus, Casey looked at the mansion beside him. It was the first time he came here. These years, TY Group developed so fast, so there were countless subsidiaries belonging to TY Group. He could not go to each subsidiary by himself.

Moreover, the affairs of the group were handled by Charles Clinton. He only handled work at the beginning, and now he did not care about it.

He went straight into the mansion and went up to the indicator. After he saw the indicator and found the office of the manager, he was going to go to the manager's office directly.

At that time, a girl who was sitting at the reception came up to him. And then she asked Casey without care, “What are you doing here?”

She saw that Casey was wearing cheap clothes, and it seemed that he had nothing with the company, so she treated him unkindly.

“I want to see your manager,” Casey said.

“Do you have an appointment?” The girl asked.

Casey shook his head and said, “Charles Clinton asked me to come here.”

After hearing that, the girl was shocked. She knew that Charles Clinton was the Chairman of TY Group, and no one dared to call his name directly.

“Please wait a minute. I will call our manager right now,” the girl said.

Then she went to make a phone call.

After a while, she came up to Casey but she looked sullen.

When Casey called the name of their Chairman directly just now, she thought that he was an important figure. Unexpectedly, the manager told her that he was a liar.

Then she also thought that he looked like a liar because of his clothes, so she was angry.

“Can I go to the office of the manager now?” Casey asked her.

“No way! Get out of here! You are a liar, so you cannot meet with our manager,” the girl said with anger.
