The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 74

Amara looked at Edith and thought that it was unbelievable, because it was the first time that Edith showed her opinion about Casey in front of her.

After saying that, Edith went back to her room with Casey.

Amara was angry to death. She said to herself with anger, “Damn it! I will make you get out of our family as soon as possible.”

......

Inside the room.

“Casey, can you really help me complete this task?” Edith asked Casey.

Casey smiled and said, “Do you think I will get you into trouble?”

“No, I don’t think so. But it is not easy to complete this task. And I don’t think TY Group will be willing to cooperate with us as we are just a small company. Maybe I can come to Hunter Powell, because he works in TY Group.” Edith said with head down.

Casey was surprised. He forgot Hunter Powell also worked in TY Group, and he heard that the subsidiary Hunter Powell worked in was in charge of this project.

“Hunter Powell has no good intentions towards you. I will not allow him to make any sexual offend to you on this matter. Please trust me, TY Group will not cooperate with any other company for this project.” Casey smiled.

Edith did not speak, but pursed her lips.

She knew that Casey did not like Hunter Powell, and she did not like him either. But it was crucial to finish this task. Even if Casey knew someone in TY Group, he could not influence the decision of the senior staff in TY Group.

Therefore she would meet with Hunter Powell.

Since Casey did not want her to meet with Hunter, she would not tell him about it in advance.

The next day, in a coffee shop in J City.

Edith sat opposite Hunter with some restraints, and she looked a bit embarrassed and worried.

“Edith, you are right as you come to me for this project. Because I am in charge of this project, I can make the decision to cooperate with your company.” Hunter was proud.

Edith was surprised at once. She did not expect that Hunter would be in charge of this project.

She thought that she was right to come to Hunter in advance. Otherwise, even if Casey knew someone in TY Group, hunter would not help them because they did not get along well with each other.

“So could you help me? This project is very important to the Patel family and me.” Edith begged him.

Hunter smiled and said, “Edith, based on our relationship, I should help you.”

Edith was excited after hearing that.

“However, as you know, I have always liked you since I was in college. Although you got married, I will never give up.”

“What’s more, Casey Davies is just good-for-nothing. He can’t be comparable to you at all. It’s really bad for you to marry him. But I am different. I can earn much more money for you from this project because it is priceless.”

“So as long as you divorce Casey and then marry me, I promise I will cooperate with the Patel family based on this project. What do you think?”

Edith thought that Hunter would help her as they were classmates. However, she did not think that Hunter would ask her to divorce Casey.

As for this point, she thought that there was no room for negotiation. Anyway, she would not divorce Casey.

“Since you talked like this, I won’t bother you. I will figure out by myself.”

Edith stood up and turned back and walked out of the coffee shop.

“Edith, could you think about it? Why don’t you divorce such an idiot? If you marry me, you can live a better life with much more money.” Hunter was anxious when he saw Edith reject him firmly.

But Edith did not turn back and left the coffee shop directly.

Hunter was angry. He did not know why Edith was so loyal to her marriage since Casey was so good-for-nothing.

He drank his coffee and thought that Edith was so silly.

When he was angry, a pretty girl sat down opposite him and looked at him with a smile.

That was Naly Patel who followed Edith secretly.

Hunter immediately tidied up his clothes, and said solemnly, “Excuse me. What can I do for you?”

“You are a classmate of Edith Patel? Nyla Pate asked him.

“Yes. But who are you?” Hunter asked her.

“I am her younger cousin.” Nyla replied.
