The Educator

I start defrosting the meat. Elliot and I are going to have steak and chips for dinner. Elliot and Sandy are playing in the living room with a ball. I started chopping the potatoes. I place the potatoes on two baking sheets. I started drizzling some olive oil over the potatoes then some salt and pepper to taste. I place the baking sheets inside the oven and start baking it for a couple a hundred degrees for thirty minutes. Once the oven starts baking the potatoes, I start preparing the butter for the steak. I don’t want the meat to defrost at a quick pace. So, I start preparing the other vegetables, like the asparagus. While the asparagus is baking, I start preparing the table, with a simple table set-up. I pull out the wine and a couple of glasses. I pull out dessert plates and forks for the cheesecake as well. Once I was finished prepping the table, I look over at Elliot and he was still enjoying his play time with Sandy. I then ran upstairs to take a quick bath and in no time, I went back downstairs to start prepping the sides. The potatoes were don as well as the asparagus. I laid and seasoned the asparagus and started platting them. The steak is already soft and ready to cook. I prepped the iron cast pan ad added crushed garlic, butter. I marinated the steak with salt and pepper and seared the steaks on both sides and then plated them as well.

“I could smell heaven all they way down here” Elliot says whilst he threw a ball for Sandy to go and fetch.

I smile a little, “Well then come and get some meat” I say and start placing the plates on the table. Elliot places a kiss on my cheek and pulls a seat out for me. I sit down and then he sist down next to me. We started eating a Sandy was having a little bit of meat, potatoes and vegetables on the side whilst we ate. Elliot and I talked about so much about the business, school and how we’re going to make every workout for the best of us. Elliot mentioned that I will be getting a driver but if I didn’t want to, I could just drive one of the cars parked in the building’s garage.

“I got it” he says and cuts me off, “I had the registrar send me your schedule so I

have all of this energy if we actually do this?” I ask
