The Educator

I hear people talking but I see nothing. I could not move anything, not my fingers nor could I open my eyes. I hear people speaking from my left and right side. I could hear Elliot, he’s asking what happened to me, what’s the treatment, do I have any infections and from Elliot’s tone and the number of consecutive questions he was asking, he was not getting the proper answers.

“I have to deal with a break-in and now my wife is here. Tell me, what is wrong with her?” those were the lost words that I heard before I fell asleep.
