Looking at Cayden who was neatly dressed and exuded a chaste aura, she couldn't help but remember that he was never what he seemed to portray on the outside. Instead of being chaste, he's lustful!

Xavier saw the two of them the moment they appeared. As usual, Cayden was in his suit, and he looked as cold and calm as always.
Meanwhile, Avery looked fresh and gentle in her jeans and blue short-sleeved blouse. With a jacket over her blouse and a laptop in her hand, she looked exactly like how an employee would look walking beside a superior.
All the others on the business trip had also seen Cayden and Avery emerging together.
Without the intention of trying to win anyone over, a female colleague approached Avery and asked, “Have you had breakfast? We've saved some oatmeal and bagels for you in the kitchen.”
The girl who asked Avery that question had actually seen Cayden heading up the stairs with a paper bag earlier on.
Not only did the paper bag look like it had food inside, but it was a rather big bag. Hence, it was hard to miss.
Avery's eyelashes fluttered slightly when she looked at that female employee. “Thank you, but I-I've already eaten,” Avery stammered.
The only thing Avery could do was tell the truth.
Earlier, when they were upstairs, the domineering Cayden had indeed ordered her to eat the nutritious breakfast. Therefore, she was too full to eat the oatmeal and bagels in the kitchen.
Besides, it was safe to assume that everyone had seen Cayden going up to look for her.
Under such a circumstance, she didn't dare to conceal the truth because others could get suspicious of them.
“Ms. Ery!” Rory came to hug Avery's leg and raised her head to look at Avery.
Avery knew Zachary and Rory were there, but Cayden had kept her occupied for so long that she hadn't had the chance to see them.
After putting the laptop aside, Avery squatted and hugged Rory. With a smile, she pressed her forehead against Rory's forehead and whispered, “I've missed you so much.”
When Rory was just about to reply to her with those same words, Avery pressed her cheek against Rory's mouth to stop her.
Since Rory was still a kid, she didn't know the real reason Avery had done that. The innocent Rory thought Avery just wanted a kiss on the cheek.
Hence, Rory kissed Avery on the cheek happily.
Avery merely looked at Rory blissfully in response. She didn't dare to publicly say how much she had missed Cayden's kid because others would find it weird.
