The rest of the drive to the hotel was uneventful. Alexia played candy crush on her phone, and Aaron just listened to music.
"Okay kids, come out of the car, and I will see if I could go get someone that could help us with the luggages." Mrs Greg said.
"Mum, I'm no longer a kid." Alexia grumbled stepping out of the car.
"To me, you are very much a kid." Mrs Greg replied her daughter, she pat Alexia on the head and then walked away to go get the bell man.
"Well.. kids, your mum would meet us at the lobby." Mr Greg said, and everyone followed him into the hotel, heading straight for the lobby.
"Good evening, and welcome to Serene stays. Would you like to book a room or you have already booked one." The receptionist says warmly, with a welcoming smile.
"I would love to book a room. Three rooms please." Mr Greg said. The receptionist nods her head, then typed a few buttons on her keyboard, click here and there, then she raised her head up with a sorry look on her face. "Sir, I'm so sorry. But due to the holiday rush, it's just two rooms that are available."
"Oh my, but we need three rooms, not two. Is there nothing you can do for us?." Mr Greg asked, a little bit worried.
"No sir, there's nothing I can do. Unless somebody checks out of his/her room, there's no way you would be able to book three rooms." The receptionist lady explained further.

"What's going on honey." Mrs Greg asked, walking into the scene, with two bellman carrying their luggages.
"The receptionist said there's only two rooms available." Mr Greg explained.
"Oh my Goodness, that's bad news. We need three rooms and not two." Mrs Greg uttered.
"Yeah, I asked if there was anything at all she could do, to save the situation. She said, she has no solution." Mr Greg explained sighing deeply.
"I would have suggested we go to another hotel, but the next hotel is way too far from here and the day it's already getting dark." Mrs Greg said worriedly.
"I guess we would have to take the two rooms then. Aaron and Alexia would have to share a room."Mr Greg suggested.
"Uhm, I don't think that is a good idea..." Alexia said chewing on her bottom lip. But her insides were jumping in joy. She had to pretend she's not okay with the arrangements, cause as a girl who loves her space, her mum would definitely be expecting her to be in disagreement with her father's suggestion.
"Come on dear, it would only be for tonight. Tommorow we could be lucky enough to secure another room." Mr Greg said calmly, patting her shoulder lightly.
Alexia bit her lip, like she was thinking about it all... "Uhm.. sure, I guess it's just for tonight. But just incase you meet Aaron dead tommorow morning, do not blame it on me."
"Hey.. why don't you give birth and then.. kill your own kids." Mrs Greg said, she tried to frown but only ended up smiling.
