“You’ve scared him.” Hayden frowned and reminded.

Noah obviously withdrawn his foot and slightly moved his body towards Hayden.

When Joseph saw Noah’s pale face which was gazing at him with hidden bitterness, he somehow regretted. He sighed silently in his mind and asked tentatively.

“Are you blaming me for not taking good care of you?”

Noah just ignored him and turned his head to lean in Hayden’s arms with his left hand clutching the corner of Hayden’s shirt.

Seeing Joseph seemed to be a little depressed, Hayden sighed silently in her mind and comforted.

“Perhaps he was scared last night, let him calm down for a while, he’ll be fine.”

You did not pay much attention to your son, no wonder he chose to be close with others rather than you, wasn’t this a very normal thing?

The atmosphere was not easy-going. At the side, Stella’s eyes moved and she pulled Joseph’s sleeve, saying in a cutesy manner, “Mister, I can’t pass this level, you help me please.”

Joseph’s brow which frowned tightly somehow relaxed. His attention was diverted and he turned his head, saying.

“Which level?”

“This, this demon always can’t be beaten.”

“…”

The atmosphere eased. Hayden fondled Noah’s hair and whispered, “Noah, are you blaming your daddy for not taking care of you and making you fall down the stairs?”

Noah, who was in her arms, shook his head. He looked up at Hayden with an exhaustible amount of grievance in his eyes.

“Then why?”

Hayden was slightly confused.

Noah’s hand which was previously dislocated still could not easily move. He could only move it slightly but still could not lift it. He was so anxious that the tears welled up in his eyes.

“You’re trying to write, aren’t you?”

Hayden hurriedly asked.

Noah nodded repeatedly.

“Don’t be anxious.” Hayden took out paper and pen from her bag and handed it to Noah’s hand. He used his left hand to hold the pen. Although it was written in a crooked way, she still managed to see what the sentence was.

“Don’t like Daddy to marry another woman.”

When Hayden saw this sentence, she subconsciously glanced at Joseph who was playing games with Stella and frowned.

It was inevitable that children were reluctant to accept their parents’ remarriage. A careless person like Joseph most likely would not take Noah’s thought into account, let alone this child was unable to speak.

When she thought of this, dark clouds loomed over her. But as an outsider, she had no right to comment anything about it so she could only lower her voice to comfort Noah, “Your father loves you very much. Even if he marries another woman, he’ll still treat you nicely.”

Noah slowly shook his head. His face was contorted by intense anguish.

“What’s wrong?” Hayden held his shoulder, “You don’t like Viola?”

Noah slightly hesitated. As if he had made up his mind about something, he nodded and then wrote another sentence on the notepad quickly.

“I want you to be my mommy.”

Seeing these words, Hayden wanted to laugh and weep at all once.

She really did not know how to explain to a child that the marriage of adults was not that simple. It was not that children could change the result by saying who did they like or did not.
