Please Let Me Go novel Chapter 47

Long after he left, Hanna's face was still red like blood and her heart banged. She did not understand what kind of feelings it was, only felt it was stirring inside her heart. After Calming down, she hurried into a mother and baby store in a mall to buy a gift. Thinking of how happy Adelaide would be when she received the gift, she showed a smile. After Jerry ordered the flowers, he went straight to Antonio's office. Antonio was shocked that Jerry would fall for Hanna. And later he went on to work. His uncle always made troubles, so Antonio had to work hard. “I can’t help you, I happen to have a client today.” He lifted the thick stack of papers in his hands. Antonio thought he would stiffen the atmosphere rather than ease it! Therefore, he refused Jerry. But Jerry would not give up and kept persuading him. And then he left until Antonio agreed. In the twilight, Antonio and Jerry stood at the entrance of the hotel, and Hanna waited at the door. Jerry and immediately handed her the blue enchantress. Ninety-nine blue enchantress were blossom with water droplets on them. Hanna suddenly flushed. She handed the bag she was carrying to Antonio, pretending to be calm as she took the flowers, and said, “Antonio, this is the gift I bought for you and Adelaide, give it to her later.” Antonio was puzzled and nodded in confusion. Then, they came to a room. Adelaide sat uneasily in a chair waiting for them. Although it was weird, but she could see Hanna's face flushed like a ripe apple when she mentioned Jerry. At the moment she heard someone open the door, Adelaide stood up. Antonio was in a suit, and he looked at Adelaide with his lip pursed. He had a high noise and clear figure, which made her fascinated. Jerry poked his arm, and he reluctantly walked towards Adelaide and handed the flowers to Adelaide, “Here you are!” Adelaide was in surprise as she asked incredulously, “Is it from you?” How was it possible? Antonio retorted, “No, it is from Jerry!” At this time, the two people standing behind were speechless. Hanna fiercely gave a glance at Jerry. How could Antonio it was from Jerry, was he stupid! Jerry was speechless too. He bought the flowers to Antonio with the purpose that Antonio would please Adelaide with it. But he did not expect Antonio would say so.

“Ok.” Adelaide said softly and threw the flowers on the ground. She did not want to be angry with Antonio. Even if Jerry bought it for him, couldn’t he say it was from himself? Antonio saw a flash of disappointment on her face, which was then covered by anger, and he secretly sighed: Shouldn't he say he bought it himself? Inexplicably he wanted to hug Adelaide and wanted to comfort her. “Come on, Antonio, didn’t you buy flowers and baby clothes to Adelaide this afternoon? Get the clothes out quickly.” Afraid that he would say he did not by the clothes, Hanna walked to Antonio and grabbed the bag from him. And then he gave it to Adelaide. Seeing that Antonio no longer argued, Jerry felt relieved. He asked them to sit down, “I am hungry, let’s have a meal! The cooks here are particularly good!” The four people sat down. Jerry was thoughtful and the food he ordered basically were not spicy. He was obsessed with spicy food, but considering Adelaide was pregnant, he did not order any spicy food this time. Antonio sat next to Adelaide and Hanna and Jerry sat on opposite sides. The waitress retreated with a smile after serving the dishes. The dish in front of Adelaide had a nice flower carving on top of the carrot. She curiously took a bite of that dish but her face suddenly changed and she immediately spat it out. Antonio gave her the water quickly.

She thought it was a vegetable like white radish, but she didn't expect it to be snapper, because snapper was salty and cold in nature and had a strong blood circulation effect, so pregnant women were absolutely not allowed to eat it. It was because of the uncertainty of the food outside. She was afraid that she would mistakenly eat things forbidden to pregnant women and felt relieved about Damla’s cook, so she used to eat at home. Antonio snapped, “What are you doing with the bottle if you're not drinking water!” She froze, turned her head to look at Antonio beside her, “Practicing!” Jerry could not help but spray the food in his mouth onto the table. Even the cold-faced Antonio was in shock, and then his face flushed! “I didn't hear anything, I didn't hear anything!” Jerry looked at them with an evil smile. He did not expect the innocent Adelaide would say dirty words. Hanna did not understand. She looked at Jerry suspiciously, “What is it? I didn't get it!” Adelaide came back to her senses and lowered her head in shame.
