At the sound of my voice, her heartbeat quickened. From her stance, she looked like she was going to bolt at any minute. To prevent that, I blurred to her front, blocking her path.

A smirk tugged at the corners of my lips when I saw her face. It was the nun from the church. It wouldn't have been easy to recognize her with the way she was dressed if I hadn't scanned her the moment her eyes met mine.
