"Okay." Rebecca agreed obediently without any emotion and hung up the phone.

On the other end of the phone, Adam was standing in front of the french window of the vice president's office on the top of the building of Matthey Group, looking down at the traffic on the road below. He listened to the "Beep" coming from the phone, feeling a little distracted. He didn't know how much time had passed before the phone started to buzz again, making him coming back to his senses.

It was Linda.

Coincidentally, he was about to call her too, so he answered the phone quickly.

"Adam, have you finished your work? I'm waiting downstairs at the Matthey." Linda's soft voice came as soon as the call was connected.

Adam frowned and sighed a little. "Linda, it's dangerous for you to always wait for me downstairs at the Matthey. If my dad finds out, I don't know what will happen."

"Adam,..." Linda sounded like she was about to cry. She asked, "I already have your child. Do the child and I have to hide like this all the time and never tell anyone about our relationship for the rest of our lives? Or do we have to be despised by everyone?
