“Lianne has an innocent look, but it turns out she’s promiscuous”

It was easy to ruin a pretty girl trying to move up in life.

Lianne was brought back to the time she was jumped on by a group in her home

People pulled her hair and beat her up, while others got their fingers up her nose and came down hard on

The little over a month-long of working together did not give Liam a lot of insight into Lianne, so he remained neutral on the matter

Lianne was grateful that Liam was not quick to judge, unlike the others. He even came to verify with her

Lianne’s heart sank to the pit of her stomach as Zane poured cold water in her attempt to clear the air. To

Zane callously interrupted her mid-sentence. “Show me the proof if it’s a rumor as you said. You have two

hours to sort it out. Otherwise, I won’t be able to trust your abilities.”

That was all she needed from Zane “Thank you, Mr. Atlas”

Zane was right. How was she supposed to perform well as the CEO’s executive assistant when her personal life was getting in the way?

Lianne acted fast by going to Zane before his preconceived notion took over from reading the post

Otherwise, she would not only be losing her job. It would leave a stain on her professional record too.

She was powerless to fight back against the malicious slander and insults then due to her young age.

Now, Lianne was no longer someone people could walk all over.

Once out of the CEO’s office, Lianne first went to the company’s information security department. She needed the staff to dig out the anonymous poster for her as soon as possible.

The people in the information security department had been nice to her since her promotion. However, they dragged their feet, looking for an excuse not to help her today.

Thank goodness for Liam’s phone call to call for their cooperation.

Several minutes after Liam’s phone call, the staff of the information security department pulled out the address of the anonymous poster

The poster was not Dave as Lianne presumed. Nevertheless, Lianne was sure Dave was in on it.

With the IP address in hand, Lianne called the cops

The police got to work and found the poster’s home address in less than half an hour

The poster confessed that Dave was behind this Later, the police uncovered a lot of stalking pictures of Lianne from Dave’s computer, which led to Dave’s arrest.

When the police arrived at the office building to take Dave into custody, Lianne looked at her watch. She was relieved, as her two hours were just up.

She then strutted her way to Dave and gave him a couple of slaps in the presence of the police officers.

As everybody watched in surprise, Lianne rubbed her sore hand and said with a fake smile, “Why do you men resort to spreading rumors and labeling women as si’ts to harass them? Don’t you have anything better to do?”

“It’s not over between us, Lianne.” Dave gnashed his teeth in bitterness, unable to do anything as he was taken away.

Lianne dialed the head of the HR department’s number in front of everybody. “Notify everyone that the Atlas Group will never employ anyone who discredits their fellow colleagues.”

She hung up regardless of whether the person on the other end of the line had heard her.

Lianne then looked around the room. “You saw me kick Dave out of the company for spreading false information. I can do the same to other offenders because Mr. Atlas stands behind me.”

“Mr. Atlas!”

Looking behind her, everybody started greeting the boss

Lianne turned back and saw Zane standing behind her. She did say that Mr. Atlas stood behind her

She froze. Still, Lianne tried to act natural. “Mr. Atlas”

Zane’s eyes behind his silver-framed glasses took a fleeting look at her. Without a word, he took strides. away

Trailing behind Zane, Liam uttered, “Come on, Lianne.”

Liam immediately joined the group, adding, “It’s almost lunchtime. Let’s eat at the cafeteria.”

Fussy with his food, Zane would have his meals specially prepped. He rarely dined out and sourced his food ingredients from his family’s farm.

Lianne had never seen Zane in the cafeteria during the month-long employment directly under him.

Since it was not time for lunch, there was no one else in the cafeteria.

Lianne wanted the table next to the window, but Zane picked a table right in the center of the room. She had no choice but to go with Zane’s pick.

Although it was an in-house cafeteria for employees, the eatery offered a lot more than most upscale restaurants Not only did the employees have a fine selection of local cuisines, but they could enjoy food from other countries. They could find almost whatever they wanted to eat there.

Due to the vast selection, Lianne was conflicted about what to have for lunch. Zane’s private chef and a team had set up and served a spread of a sumptuous feast.

Liam drooled cravingly. “Looks like I’m in for a feast today”

Lianne seemed a little out of it. I’m going to freshen up.

She went to the restroom and splashed the cold on her face before smiling in the mirror. She curled her lips until the person in the mirror demonstrated the most professional smile.

Lianne ran into Liam on her way out of the restroom. Thank you, Mr. Zimmer.

Liam asked, “What for?”

Lianne answered. The information security team wouldn’t have even fulfilled my request if it weren’t for your phone call”

It had not been long since her promotion, and her scandal broke out while she was on her probation. Many believed Zane would fire her because he had no room for tolerance. Hence, everybody stopped giving her respect as the CEO’s executive assistant.

“Mr. Atlas told me to call the department. You should be thanking him.” Speaking of which, Liam felt ashamed that he believed the post. It did not cross his mind to lend Lianne a hand.
