Looking at her, Christian said, "What are you suspecting?"

"I... Where's Minh?" She suddenly asked. 

Minh was with her at that time. So he should know whether she really had a fever. 

"Mr. Johnson went back to the company, and I had him ask for leave for you. " Christian hugged her and sat down again, his low voice sounding extremely gentle, "If you're not feeling well, rest a bit, I will take care of the other matters, okay?"

Isabella looked at him with sharp eyes and spoke with a heavy voice. "You're lying. I didn't have a fever, did I? I was indeed drugged last night by someone. "

Christian's eyes darkened. He pulled her tightly into his embrace once again, his thin lips pressing against her ear as he said in a low voice, "No matter what had happened, everything is okay now. I'll take care of other matters, and you don't need to worry about these things anymore."
