The knife and fork in Isabella’s hands suddenly slipped, which let out a short ear-piercing sound. She paused for two seconds, then raised her head, and looked at Luke with her eyes filled with guilt, "Sorry, Luke...I thought about it for a long time...But I still can't..."

Luke's eyes dimmed, but he wasn't angry, nor did he lose his composure. He still calmly smiled: "There's no need to apologise. We both have experienced a failed marriage so it's normal for us to be careful. I'm already quite happy that you could consider about it." 

"Thanks for your understanding, Luke." Isabella gratefully looked at him, and lowered her head to feed Rachel a piece of meat. Then she said sincerely: "Luke, with your conditions and personality, you should find a woman you truly like. You don't need to settle for anyone less than you deserve. I believe the woman you have an eye on would also treat Rachel nice."
