Love Magic: Two Different Hearts

Ace's POV

I look at my brother and he was now crying while burying his head on my chest.

(I feel sorry for him but this is the only thing I can do for him. He's been with them like forever. He grew up with them and I know that it's hard to let go of someone)

I look at grandma and she was also crying while rubbing Glen's back and telling him it's going to be okay.

"There... there.... sweetheart. It's going to be fine. Everything will be fine. It's not that we won't see each other again, right" grandma reassures while patting Glen.

"You can come visit us anytime that you want. Me and your grandpa will be waiting and expecting for your visits even if it's unannounced" she finished and slowly Glen stopped crying until he is only sobbing.

Though he still buries his face on my chest and he doesn't like to look at grandma. But he suddenly looks at grandma while his head is bowed down.

I saw grandma smile before talking to him. He touches Glen's face with her both hands and slowly rise it for them to look in the eye.

"It's going to be fine, sweetheart. Come visit us" she said.

(Even though he is not okay.... what can we say... Grandma still needs to go back since she needs to take good care of grandpa)

Mom came out of the kitchen and her face immediately softened when she saw our situation here.

Glen stood there while sobbing and grandma just kissed him on the forehead.

Suddenly grandma said something and Glen suddenly stop crying and sobbing. I immediately looked at grandma and she just smile while wiping her tears away.

(What did grandma do?) suddenly Glen started to fall down so I immediately catch him with my reflexes. I look up at grandma with a questioning look making her smile at me and put her pointing finger near her lips.

"I made him sleep so I suggest you carry him to the couch since I know he will have a tantrum so I suggest we'll make him calm down for a bit" she said while looking at me.

I slowly carry Glen to the couch without waking him up and laid him on it while grandma and mom followed suit too.

We waited for Glen to wake up so we tried to watch a movie while waiting for him to wake up.

"Are you sure you just made him sleep grandma?" I asked her and she glared at me.

It's nearly going to be an hour and still Glen shows no sign of waking up. I thought that he would just take a nap not really sleep until morning.

"Of course, sweet heart. He just--" suddenly Glen started to move and we looked at him waiting patiently us he opens his eyes.

"He's waking up" our sister said while she went to sit next to mom.

Dad and little sis came a moment ago after I laid Glen on the sofa. We explained to them what happened since dad gave us all a questioning look and little sis with a confused one.

And so now here we are at last waiting for the princess-- I mean Glen to wake up.

"Hey the princess is already waking up" I joked and everyone look at me in boredom.

"Up... I just want to cheer everyone up" I said feeling dejected.

Glen looked at us and saw all of us staring at him. He looks at grandma and then back to us.

"Oh no way... you didn't kiss me right... yuck that would be terrible. I don't know where that mouth of yours been through" he said making all of us look at him in confusion and amazement.

"I'm always intrigued and can't help to be surprised with your personality sweetheart" grandma said while looking at Glen.

"Sorry if I made a mess" he said while getting up into a sitting position and little sis suddenly went to hug him which surprised him making him stiff for a moment before returning the hug to sis.

"Mom I'm really starting to doubt if she is just a kid or my older sister" he said after they broke of the hug then suddenly all of us laughed making sis pout but I just ruffled her hair making her groan and complain even more.

"Not the hair" she said fixing her hair while swaying my hand away but I still tease her until she ran away and went near mom.

"Guess you’re all better now, are you?" I asked and he smile. It's not the smile that is forced but rather his real smile.

"Yup.... I just need to get that out of my system or else I might explode and blow up if I keep it in" he said making me smile.

(This is what I like and admire with my brother's personality. He easily adapts to new environment and situation making me proud of him)
