Jose let out a sigh and left with Wilbur

Wilbur bought a fruit basket at the hospital gift shop before heading to the patient wards.

Just then, Sherry was unable to hide the gleeful smile on her face.

She had never expected that someone would pay her so much money over this. What a win–win situation it was!

On top of that, whoever sent her the money had said that they would back her up with all the support she needed, making sure

she was safe.

Anyone who could cough up a million dollars in cash over something like this had to be someone of power, and Sherry believed that they would undoubtedly keep their promise.

There was not much left for her to be afraid of. All she was thinking of at the moment was how to escalate the situation as much as possible.

Just then, Wilbur walked into the ward holding the fruit basket. He looked around, found Sherry’s bed, and walked up to her.

“Sherry Divos?” Wilbur asked.

Sherry looked up and fear flashed in her eyes.

Yet she returned back to normal quickly enough. “What do you want from me?”

Wilbur set the basket down, sitting on a stool by the window, “I’m sure you know who I am. That video you put out has done insurmountable damage to me, and I’m hoping you can clear the air.”

Of course, Sherry knew who Wilbur was. She had edited the footage on her own, after all.

But she had just raked in a huge amount of money, and her popularity online was skyrocketing. How could she quit now?

Besides, wouldn’t she be going back at her own word if she were to admit to this? How was she going to keep making content online after that?

Sherry’s expression darkened. “I don’t know who you are, and your threats won’t work on me. I’m not scared of you.”

“That’s not fair of you to say that, young lady. No one’s threatening you here, and I’m just asking you to tell the truth. Don’t you feel bad about this at all?” Wilbur looked straight at Sherry.

Sherry looked back at him, her gaze sharp. “Listen up, I’m not going to be scared of you just because you’ve got money or

power.”

Wilbur huffed exasperatedly. What was up with this girl?

A brief moment later, he said slowly, “You need to think of the consequences if you insist on continuing to spread lies like this. You’re still pretty young, and I really hope you don’t make the wrong choice.”

“Are you threatening me again?” Sherry smirked coldly. “You don’t scare me one bit. You’ll just have to kill me, or I’m going to expose you for sure.”

Wilbur’s expression darkened, but he managed to calm himself down quickly enough. “I guess you’re seeing this through,

then.”

“What’s wrong with my decision? Don’t people like you deserve to be exposed?” Sherry said.

Wilbur got to his feet, speaking in a low tone. “I saved you, but here you are threatening me like this. What did I do wrong exactly?”

“You know what you did! Get out right now or I’m calling the police,” Sherry shouted.

The other two patients in the ward looked over strangely at the outburst

Wilbur sighed. “Young lady, you need to learn that there are consequences to everything. You’re going to regret this.”

Wilbur left after that. Sherry took a deep breath, then took out her phone and went live again. “Guys, someone came and threatened me again. What should I do, guys? I’m so scared…

The netizens went into a frenzy with their comments once again, all of them cursing Wilbur and asking for Sherry to just expose who the perpetrator was so that he would be punished.

However, the original video on her phone had just been deleted. There was nothing she could do about that.

That was better, in a way. Everyone would sympathize with her and hate the mysterious rich man even more, making this and even bigger deal.

“Guys, that’s not right. It’s an invasion of his privacy.” Sherry said into the camera. “Thank you for your support, I’ll make sure to keep going until the perpetrator gets what he deserves.”

The viewers of the stream were unbelievably frustrated, swearing to hell and back that they would find this guy. Someone even suggested waiting around Castlebary to teach the guy a lesson
