Invincible Heir novel Chapter 81

Lara was crying in Sarah’s arms. Finally, she stopped. “Sarah, I miss my mom and dad. Can you call them and tell them to bring me out of here?” She said, with tears in her eyes.

Sarah did not know how to answer that. She got no hint of Hudson’s intentions. She only knew that Hudson wouldn’t let Lara go easily.

“I will do whatever you want me to do, Hudson. But there is a condition. Let Lara go home!” Sarah said, biting her lips.

“You want to strike a bargain with me? Is that a threat, Sarah? Come on. Don’t be naive. Because, frankly, I don’t care if you live or die. I warn you, Sarah. If you say anything more, I will kill the little girl,” said Hudson, still smiling.

Sarah had no choice but to compromise. She knelt and put a hand on Lara’s shoulder. “Lara, I’m tired, so I will go to sleep in the bedroom. I’ll play with you later. Okay?” she said softly.

“Sarah, I’m scared. I want to go with you.” Lara’s eyes filled with tears again.

“That’s not okay, Lara. You have to wait here for your mom and dad,” Sarah said coaxingly.

“Really? Will they come for me?” Lara shouted with delight.

“Of course. You mean a lot to them. So, wait here. OK?” Sarah tried to soothe the poor girl.

“OK!” Said Lara happily.

Sarah smiled at Lara and followed Hudson into a bedroom.

As soon as they walked into the bedroom, Hudson put his arms around Sarah, but Sarah pushed him away.

“What do you mean?!” said Hudson sternly.

Sarah stared hard at Hudson and tears began to come to her eyes. “Do you remember it? You said you were confident enough to make me fall in love with you. You failed, Hudson! I never, never will love someone like you!”

“I don’t care! You are nothing to me. I admit that you are very pretty, but I just want to have sex with you! You can’t get out of it tonight. Remember the little girl’s life depends on you!” said Hudson savagely.

Just then, they heard a sudden, hurried knock at the door.

“You wicked little girl! You’ll get yourself killed.” Hudson said and walked towards the door, looking very grumpy.

“Please, Hudson! Forgive Lara! Please don’t hurt her. I’ll do anything!” Sarah tried to stop him.

Hudson shoved her aside and opened the door.

A familiar figure appeared in front of him. It was not Lara but Charles!

Without a word, Charles kicked him in the chest. Hudson went flying and hit a table with a dull thud. Following the crash, all the wines smashed on the ground with broken pieces everywhere.

“How did you find me here? That’s impossible!” Hudson said in a terrified voice.

He felt a sharp pain in his chest. Not only that, a wave of panic came over him. He knew that once Lara was rescued, He would die!

Charles walked toward Hudson, step by step. When he reached, he stepped on Hudson’s chest with tremendous force. “You’re a dead man when you took away his daughter.”

“You can’t kill me. The Brown family will come after you, you know that,” Hudson said in fear, shaking from head to foot.

He had seen Charles blind his men cruelly at the Moonshine Pub. He couldn’t get the scene out of his mind.

At that moment, a cold voice came suddenly from the parlor. “Knock him out and take him away!”
