I Refuse to Divorce novel (Zoe and Mason) novel Chapter 80

Mason looked down at her condescendingly.

He watched her nose twitch and observed as she gradually sunk into ecstasy.

If he did well, she would uncontrollably wrap her arms around his shoulders, gently panting near his neck. Only in moments of surrender, her face would not appear so cold and regain its lively and charming aspect.

It seemed like the old Zoe had returned.

Mason lowered his body and kissed her passionately.

Mason took quite a while, making love to her three times before finally finding some relief.

In the end, both of them were covered in sweat.

They quietly embraced each other, calming the emotional tide.

After a long time, Zoe's body moved slightly, sitting up.

Mason wrapped his arms tighter around her her waist, his voice husky in the aftermath of their passion. "What's wrong?"

"I need to take my pills."

Zoe used her fingers to comb through her waist-length hair and explained calmly, "You didn't use protection just now, so I need to take my pills."

Mason was slightly taken aback.

Not wanting children was an agreement between him and Zoe, but now that she stated it so indifferently, he felt slightly upset about it.

He sat up with her. "Sometimes, it's not guaranteed even without protection."

Zoe put on a bathrobe.

After taking the pills with water, she spoke softly, "It's better to be safe. Besides, didn't you say you want to have fun for a few more years? Getting pregnant now would be a bother."

Mason leaned against the headboard, staring at her.

Zoe had truly changed.

She became composed and emotionally stable, showing a trace of Rosemary's shadow…

Mason looked at Zoe for a long time, and he could not help but to sneer.

He said, "Since you've taken the pills, why not do it again, just to be safe."

He thought Zoe would refuse.

However, Zoe gently put down the cup, walked to the side of his bed, and very obediently placed her hand on his thigh, leaning in to kiss him. She even took the initiative to touch his body.

Mason's dark eyes became stormy.

In the next second, Zoe was pressed beneath him, the thin blanket rudely pulled away.

With black hair scattered on the snow-white sheets, it was a disgraceful scene. She assumed the embarrassing posture she had been in when they were last at the Reese suite.

At first, Zoe struggled a bit, but soon she stopped resisting. She lay lightly on the bed, letting Mason have his way with her.

This time, Mason truly enjoyed it.

He always liked it a bit rough.

At night, probably because they had not shared a bed for too long, neither of them slept well.

Mason had a dream.

He dreamed that Zoe had divorced him and married Cecil.

Waking up, he reached out and found the space next to him empty.

"Zoe!"

At faint sound came from the walk-in closet. Mason got up and went there.

In the walk-in closet, the warm yellow light illuminated the scene.

Zoe had prepared his work clothes, a crisp white shirt, a well-ironed suit, and accessories, which were all set and waiting for him to wear.

Mason looked at Zoe.

She wore a light pink silk robe with a slim belt, and her long hair was casually tied up, revealing a small piece of fair and tender skin. She was helping him choose a watch.

Hearing footsteps, Zoe guessed that Mason had gotten up. She asked softly, "How about this Audemars Piguet?"

Mason remained silent.

He embraced her from behind, lowering his face against her cheek.

In this way, they resembled a newlywed couple deeply in love.

Zoe let him embrace her.

Mason kissed the soft flesh behind her ear, his voice somewhat hoarse and hot, murmuring, "Mrs. Lockwood, I like the way you pick out my clothes."

Touching her like this, Mason could not help but want more.

Zoe was entangled by him for most of last night. She still felt a lingering pain from it.

She gently refused. "I have something to do today, I don't have the energy for this right now."
