I'm Sorry, But I Love You novel Chapter 54

Catherine dared to say anything.

She did not worry that Anderson would make trouble on Ethan for it. The longer she knew about Ethan, the more she learned he was a trouble maker.

Anderson became angrier, gazing at her eyes that were full of hatred.

He covered her eyes.

“Anderson, can we stop torturing each other?”

His heart ached suddenly.

Her words were never friendly. She was much adorable when she kept silent. Somehow, Anderson bent down to kiss her.

Her eyes were covered.

So, her body got more sensitive.

Her struggle made no difference at all.

At last, she gave up and was willing to let Anderson do whatever he wanted.

She really hated herself when she was losing her grip.

Anderson lost interest in her on seeing her like that. He removed his hand and stood up.

At the sight of light, Catherine was stunned for a moment, then stood up quickly, leaving no break for other thoughts. She smoothed her crinkled clothes and buttoned up, looking at the man beside her.

Anderson took off the suit jacket and squinted at Catherine. “Stay away from Ethan.”

Catherine didn’t speak.

Anderson became edgy. “Did you hear me?”

Ethan had helped her. She had given him her word and she would not go back on it. What’s more, she earned her living from him.

Catherine’s silence told her rejection.

Anderson spluttered, “Ethan is a bad guy. If you stay by his side, he’ll devour you completely!”

The man who hurt her most was criticizing others. Catherine sneered and looked at Anderson seriously.

“Anderson, do you know how Ethan and I met?”

Anderson could tell what she might say for next. He didn’t want to listen to it, but he didn’t stop her after a short hesitation.

“After you raped me and put the news on the Internet, I tried to kill myself. You took Sophia and Lincoln away from me. I drunk all day with Aurora at Sky Club. When I went out to get a breath of fresh air, I was caught by an old man and nearly to be raped in his box.”

Anderson’s face hardened into an expression of hatred. “Who?” he asked.

Catherine didn’t answer and went on, “I was quite despairing at that time. But Ethan saved me.”

It was the same scenario as what Anderson guessed.

“I don’t know if he’s a bad guy or not, but I do know he has helped me many times.” Catherine glared at Anderson. “You had me cornered and it was he who saved me from the desperation!”

“I don’t know about the future of being together with him, but I do know about the outcome of being with you. And I’m still suffering from it.”

Anderson gritted his teeth and said nothing.

At the end of the conversation, he said with indifference, “You deserved it.”

Catherine didn’t retort. He had been blinded by his affection for Isabella.

At last, Catherine was taken to the Ziting Villa.

Getting out of the car, Catherine stood at the gate without moving forward. “If Mr. Clark just wants to tell me that Ethan is a bad buy today, then I thank you for your thoughtfulness. I’m leaving.”

She tried to keep a distance from him.

Anderson held her arm and took her into the Ziting Villa.

Catherine knew she couldn’t get out of his control.

They were in an empty room. Only a nanny came over and asked Anderson if he needed something to eat. She left at hearing Anderson’s denial.
