JENNIFER'S POV
The ride to the chief minister's residence was a 30 minute silent affair. Except of some questions thrown to me from my soon-to-be-father-in-law Sumit Prakash. They were all my job oriented questions, so I was quite at ease. All the way though, I found myself avoiding the lustfull bulgy eyes of Mr. Prakash Jr. Soon, we entered the Rajpath Marg, the colony were all the administrative, political delegates resided.
It was posh, each succeeding house better than the previous one. The houses... no, the mansions were all present in an organized honeycomb structure. Each mansion, having a fountain at the entrance and a big patch of garden. Soon, we reached the end of the lane. The car stopped there. I shifted my gaze from my left side to the right, to view the other side through the window. And what I saw was a sight to behold.
This, was not at all a mansion, it was a palace! All of it decorated with golden and silver lights. The gates itself were great,grand,gigantic and...... Well, the sight was something out of the world.
