Belle's POV

Alexei said something to the driver in Russian then focused his attention on me.

He pulled me toward his chest and wrapped his arms around me. He made me sit on his lap while I'm on my side.

I did not put up a fight anymore. After what has happened, my mind and body just simply can't function. I rested on top of Alexei and buried my face on his neck.

"My brother...." He said, as he tries to open a conversation about Nikolai but I quickly interrupted him.

"How's your girlfriend Alexei?"

We stayed like this for a long while. I just let him caress and kiss me. I want to make the most out of every second with him.

I know and understand that Alexei and Nikolai are inseparable. They have been dependent on each other since the time that they stood on their own and made a name for themselves. They have been brothers long before I even came into their lives. And I don't want that to change just because of me.
