Her Second Marriage, Being Mr. Moore's New Wife novel Chapter 595

Kennedy was silent, did not answer her words.

Alice was not in a hurry, quietly staring at him, and he suddenly leaned over to kiss her lips.

This sudden action stunned Alice.

The kiss did not last long. The next moment he placed his lips on the corners of her mouth and said hoarsely, “Am I not good?”

Alice, “??”

What on earth did the man mean?

“You don't understand my heart after all these I've done for you?”

Of course she knew his heart, it was just...

Kennedy bit her angrily, Alice frowned in pain.

“What are you doing?”

“Does it hurt?” He took her hand and laid it over his heart. “It hurts ten thousand times more than you do now.”

Alice was stunned, “you...”

He held her tightly, “Don't contact him. He's not a good man.”

Hearing that, Alice was speechless, with her eyes widened.

He knew it.

No wonder when she came back, there was something wrong with his eyes and breath, so he really knew that she and Manfred met.

But wasn't he sleeping?

How did he know that?

Alice could not help but ask, “You followed me?”

Kennedy did not answer, holding her more tightly.

“Is that yes?” Alice closed her eyes feebly, feeling her heart sinking.

After a long time.

“Must you watch me like this? Do I not even have the most basic freedoms? I'm not your wife now, you don't have quality to control me. Even if I were your wife, you can’t tie me down like that!”

His breath cooled.

“I tied you down? What about you? What did you tell me yesterday?” He clasped her wrist with increasing force. “You won't go out? Have a good rest? But went to meet a man?”

“Meet a man?” The word infuriated Alice.

She went to see Manfred for work, but he misunderstood her. Looking at his eyes at the moment, Alice felt she was ruthlessly slapped in the face, so she suddenly pushed Kennedy away.

“What do you mean by that? Who do you think I am?”

After pushing him away, Alice sat up, only to find that she was naked. She took a breath, pulled the sheet over her body, and then got out of bed to pick up her own clothes and put them on, with her back to Kennedy.

“So what I went to see a man? You have nothing to do with me now.” Alice put on her clothes and went into the bathroom. When she went in, she slammed the door so loudly that the room seemed to tremble with the noise.

Kennedy stared at the door, with his thin lips pressing in a straight line.

Was she angry?

But she lied to him?

Manfred wanted to fight with him?

No way.

Alice cleaned up in the bathroom, and came out to take clothes to change. After that, she began to make up. Sitting in front of the mirror, she put on lipsticks, putting Kennedy as a transparent person.

Looking at this scene, Kennedy frowned.

Why did this woman make up when she didn't go out?

He got up, put on on his clothes and walked behind her. “You're going out?”

Alice ignored him, took out a small mirror and put on makeup powder, and then walked towards outside with her bag.

As she reached the door, a hand stopped her.

Alice raised her head and saw Kennedy’s black face.

“Where are you going?”

He screwed his eyebrows and looked unhappy.

Alice hissed, “It is not your business, right? Do you think you matter to me because you have protected me for two days? My brother leaves me alone, why should you care about me?”

She pushed his hand violently away and walked downstairs.

Looking at her straight figure, Kennedy said in a cold voice.

“Even if we had sex just now, you still know I have no qualification to care about you?”

She walked with a short pause, but without stopping, and still walked down the stairs.

What year did he think it was? He had to care about her business because she had sex with her? It was ridiculous. Even if she lost her virginity to him, she would not force him to marry her.

Alice went downstairs and was ready to drive to the drugstore, but as she was to open the door, a hand stopped her movement.

She lifted eyes, as expected, it was again Kennedy.

His breath was unsteady. “Didn't I tell you it is dangerous out there? What do you want?”

Alice, “...”

She sneered, “Is it more dangerous than you? Don't you forget what you just did to me, and don't do anything under the guise of protecting me. Do you think you're doing something noble or good for me? If you really want what's best for me, you should stay away from me.”

She opened the door and got in the driver's seat.

Kennedy stood there, with painful eyes and expression.

Instead of going elsewhere, Alice drove around and finally turned to the drugstore, where she got to buy morning-after medicine.

The clerk introduced several kinds of the medicine to her. Alice told the clerk about her situation before the clerk introduced once to her.

Alice paid the money, and then got out carrying the bag.

As she got into the car, she laid the medicine on one side and felt a headache as she remembered what had happened.

Why she and Kennedy had sex?

Now... Things were getting more complicated.

She must not get pregnant.

If she was pregnant, it was really messy.

It was still some way from home, but she did not want to return so early, so she took a long detour, intending to drive slowly.

Under the viaduct was a crossroads. Alice stopped and waited there. Unconsciously she took a glance back, but she saw a car.

She withdrew her eyes and later she took a second look.

This car felt like following her since she was at the drugstore.

Did they go to the same destination? Could there be such a coincidence?

Although there were not too many roads in B City, but she had never encountered onece.

It was the green light.

Alice continued to change the road for the rest of the journey, but the black car did not disappear behind her, but had been following her.

After a few traffic lights, Alice was sure she was being followed.

She bit her lower lip and took out her mobile phone to call Kennedy.

But then she was stunned.

She just had a fight with him. Why should she call him now?
