The drive home with Ridwan was a very quiet one as I looked out the window through the whole ride. I could I have been stupid to think things changed in a few days. I had actually really thought he changed but he was still the same. We were on our way home and I was also missing my friend's birthday because my husband is insecure about several things I don't still understand.

   He pulled over by the driveway and I got down immediately without even waiting for him. He walked behind me with speed and as I was going up to the room angrily. His voice made me stop on the staircase.
