Ashely woke up in a different environment and surprisingly her head was skyrocketing, which was good since she got sick. The continuous beeping sound began to annoy Ashley as she tried to reach for her alarm clock but felt nothing but air, Ashley furrowed as she felt nothing before the sound of a high-pitched chuckle caught her attention.

Ashley slowly opened her eyes as her eyelids squinted trying to adjust to the bright light before fully opening them. Ashley frantically scanned the unfamiliar surroundings until it landed on the nurse, who continued to do her work. Ashley suddenly gasp as she realized something, “It wasn’t a dream,” she mumbled before the nurse walked up to her bedside, “How are you feeling, my dear?” She asked as Ashley furrows, “Confused, what happened?” She asked as the nurse gave her a small smile to reassure her that everything was going to be fine, “Yesterday you fainted, so we took you to take a look at your condition and it seems that you had caught a head cold and because you weren’t taking care of yourself it had gotten worst which is why you fainted yesterday,” the nurse explained as Ashley nodded, “And my mom?” She asked as the nurse nodded, “Your pare-

“My mom,” Ashley interrupted as the nurse gave her a smile, “Your mother said she’ll come to visit this evening,” she replied as Ashley nodded, “I’m fine, by the way, much better than I was before,” Ashley said as the nurse smiled, “That’s good, we’re monitoring you for a few days and then you’ll be free to go,” she said getting ready to leave before Ashley stopped her, “Wait, can I see my step-brother?” She asked, “Well, you’ll have to wait until his girlfriend leaves,” she said as Ashley furrowed, “Girlfriend, what girlfriend?”

“Tatiana- what are- you- doing?” Jake asked as he tried to push Tatiana off of him, but at the moment she was stronger than due to his condition. “Oh, baby, I was so worried about you, look at what they did to you,” she said frantically examining his body and face, annoying the hell out of him, "What the f**k is wrong with you?" He asked but Tatiana ignored him as she tried to kiss him again and yet again Jake tried to push her away but this time she succeeded.

Jake's eyes widened as his good arm reached to grab onto her shoulder. The sound of a door opening caught their attention as Tatiana pulled away. There was Ashley in a wheelchair, who stared at them with a blank expression. Tatiana slowly stood up with a smirk on her face. Jake stared at Ashley in awe but the way she was looking at him scattered his heart, "Ashley!" Jake softly called out to her as she ignored him while turning towards the nurse, "Is this the girlfriend, you were talking about?" Ashley asked as the nurse nodded, "Girlfriend, what the hell are you talking about, Ashley?" Jake asked looking back and forth between Ashley and Tatiana, who folded her arms while glaring at Ashley.
