Harvey York's Rise to Power novel Chapter 37

“That’s right!” Cecilia quickly echoed what the other said. “It’s quite possible that Harvey would do such a humiliating thing. He’s a good-for-nothing while Don is a bankrupt man. It’s quite possible that the two of them would conspire with each other. If not, how do we explain the situation in which Harvey is safe and fine now?”

“Cecilia! Angel! That’s enough!” At last, Harvey could not hold himself back anymore. He stepped forward and looked at the two women in front of him condescendingly.

Undeniably, both Cecilia and Angel were charming. One of them was sexy and attractive, while the other was cute and lovely. Even though they appeared cold and aloof now, they were still quite charming and adorable.

Noticing that Harvey was looking at her, Cecilia was filled with disgust. ‘This useless man! How bold of him to have his eyes on his wife’s best friend! He’s such a b*stard!’

“I remember that I’ve told you before. My wife’s company is in need of eight hundred thousand dollars. If I’m able to provide that amount of money, you’ll kneel down in front of me and address me as your father. Is that so?” Harvey smiled happily and looked at Cecilia as he said so.

“Yes! I said that!” Cecilia stood up all of a sudden. She almost knocked against Harvey’s chest. “Yes! Take the money out now! If you can’t, you have to kneel down in front of me and address me as your mother!”

“That’s right. If you’re able to have that amount of money, I’ll address you as my father too!” Angel, who was beside them, could not hold herself back anymore. She stood up and was filled with disdain.

“Fine! I’m definitely going to be addressed as your father now!” Harvey took up the plastic bag at the corner.

After that, he swung his hands, and all the bundles of banknotes fell down on the floor swiftly.

At that moment, the entire villa fell into a dead silence.

The bundles of banknotes were piled up in the living room like bricks. It looked like a small mountain, and it was quite a frightening scene.

“This… This…” Mandy was filled with disbelief. She was so dumbfounded that she could not say anything for a moment.

“These… They are not fake…” Lilian almost threw herself onto the money. She picked up a few bundles and checked them carefully. After a short while, her anger had disappeared slightly.

On the other hand, Xynthia gaped directly. Although she was born into a large family, the problem was that she had never seen eight hundred thousand dollars being piled up like that in front of her before.
