Chapter 37 

Damien got into the car helplessly, and the driver couldn’t help laughing. 

“Mr. Smyth, if you don’t go back so late, Mrs. Smyth will definitely be worried.” 

“You are so talkative today.” Damien said in a deep voice, “Go back to Willow Garden.” 

The driver started the car and went back to Willow Garden. 

On the way, the driver also received a call from his wife asking when he would go back. 

Damien heard that the woman on the phone also said that she had left a meal, and then nagged the children about their studies. 

The driver said to his wife, “I see, you are the one who is talking, hang up first.” 

The driver said this, but his heart was warm, and there was a happy smile on his face. 

Damien asked curiously, “Max, your wife also urges you to go home for dinner every day?” 

Max smiled and said, “Yes, she always says that if a couple doesn’t eat at the table together, it had no feeling of a home. out. 

As for Hendrix’s visit to Vivienne yesterday, Damien didn’t ask any questions, pretending he didn’t know anything. 

After Damien went out, Vivienne started to clean the house and then started to do handwork when she was done. 

At about eleven o’clock at noon, Vivienne received a call from the HR department of the jewelry company under the Skyreach Group, asking her to go for an interview tomorrow. 

Vivienne was so excited that she repeatedly agreed, “Okay, okay, what time will it be tomorrow?” 

“At two o’clock in the afternoon, office building A on Jade Road.” 

“Okay, no problem, thank you.” 

After the phone call, Vivienne couldn’t wait to share the news with Damien.

In the Skyreach Group office building, in the huge conference room, dozens of senior leaders were sitting here. 

This was the company’s weekly meeting. Damien sat with a blank expression on his face as if he was staying with strangers. 

Just seconds before, Damien had yelled at the manager of the South–East Region. 

The notification sound saved the regional manager, Damien glanced at the phone, his cold expression cracked. 

Damien picked up the phone and replied [Congratulations, and get ready] 

Vivienne was in a happy mood when she received the news and felt that Damien was indeed a gentleman. She put away her phone and began to prepare for the interview. 

She had no idea that the gentleman in her eyes was a Poker–Faced Killer in the eyes of the senior leaders of the Skyreach Group. 

“The meeting is over.” Damien got up, and glanced at everyone coldly, “Skyreach Group does not support idlers, I hope you can clearly understand what you should do. Just remember, you are not indispensable to this company.” 

The implication was that those with insufficient ability were not worthy of staying in this position. The company had no shortage of talent. 

Leaving those words behind, Damien strode out, followed by Chief Secretary Jesse. 

In the president’s office, Jesse reported, “Mr. Smyth, the interview you arranged has been ordered. As of now, more than 400 people have signed up.” 

“Also, we have found a suitable bone marrow for Hank Lane’s son, and the bone marrow transplant is scheduled for next week. We have applied for an angel fund for them, and all surgical expenses for his son will be free.” 

Damien said with not much emotion, “Good job.” 

Jesse asked, “Mr. Smyth, why did you spend so much time looking for bone marrow for Hank Lane’s son?” 

Jesse had been with Damien for many years, and he took over

son.”
